Great fit
Outer seals donโt do much to begin with, but these fit and look great, Iโd say itโs worth it.

Great product, fast shipping.
I installed these in my 2013 Wrangler Rubicon and was very pleased. I haven't had them for long so this review is about installation and initial quality. I will try to update this after I put some miles on them. My first impression was very good about them. They arrived very fast and were packaged nicely. My Jeep had some dirt and debris build up with just a little bit of surface rust in the tubes so after cleaning the tubes and removing the rust from the ends the insulation was pretty easy. I installed the driver side dry first and it got fairly difficult just before it was fully seated. On the passenger side I applied just a little bit of soapy water to ease installation and would definitely recommend doing this but would advise against getting too much because I would be afraid of it being too lubricated and causing it to spin in the shaft if it was drivin before they dried. I would not use any type of petroleum based lubricant for fear of this also. I had to replace axle seals after a recent trip with a lot of mud so I bought these knowing I would have it apart already and was looking for something that would prevent future repairs from seal contamination from dirt and debris. I would recommend this product to anyone with a Jeep that sees any off pavement use even before you have a seal failure just as a preventative maintenance.

Fit is a little loose .
I recieved these in a very timely manner and I was impressed with them initially because of their build quality . They seem to have been well thought out in design as well. The housings are of aluminum construction that is rubberized, then has an insert that is rubber and I am thinking aluminum as well, that is snap ringed in place. Before doing anything, I test fitted the housing into the axle tube on my 1972 Jeep CJ5,and it was loose. Not just a little but a lot . I thought these were made for Dana 30 axles ? Whats up with this? Anyways, I really want to keep crud out of my axle tubes so I wrapped a round of 3M friction tape around it and when it was tight in the tube, installed it. One thing for certian, there is little to no room between the axle and the insert once installed, so make damn sure you have that driven all the way in before installing your axle and spindle. Thank you for a pretty cool product that will keep the cruddies at bay and my inner seals happier for a long time .

Good quality of seller, part, and easy to install
Seller was great to work with, they accidentally sent me someone elseโs shipment and quickly got it handled and sent me the right shipment. Product is great quality and easy to install, recommend using a wire wheel or sandpaper to clean the axle shaft where it is going to ride in the seal. Put some grease on the rubber end where it goes into the axle tube and make sure the grease fitting it easy to access, I used a section of 2x4 to seat them in the axle. Then applied some assembly goo to the axle to prevent damage to the lip seal when inserting the axle shaft. Otherwise great quality, yes you will need to remove the plastic guard that comes on the axle shaft from factory as thatโs where the seal will ride. Glad I wonโt have to worry about fine silt getting into the axle tube and ruining my inner axle seals anymore.

Easy to install keeps everything out of axles
Installed these into my dana 30 axles for my 2004 lj. The stock covers were worn after 225000 miles and after changing my hubs and pulling the axle shafts to check and change my ujoints i had all the work done to install these. I cleaned as much dirt and rust as i could from the inside of my tubes and installed my outer seals(just pushed them into the tubes). The shafts went back in straight ( less of a chance to rip the inner seals) and i filled them with grease and then did the rest of the needed work to the rest of my jeep. One word of advice would also be to make sure you buy a pair of rubber covers for the zerk fittings as for some reason companies never send them when selling stuff with zerk fittingsHardest part of install was waiting the 2 days for amazon to get them to me.

These are really nice. Put them on my 2007 JK front axles
These are really nice. Put them on my 2007 JK front axles. They won't fit if you have your axle tubes sleeves so FYI on that. Otherwise they install really easy. You will have to cut the plastic guard off your existing axles first at the U-joints and then remove the axle guides to get the axles to go back in. Grease after the axles are back in. On mine the grease fittings were too close to the C's on the rear so I had to pull out the zerks and used a rubber tip on the grease gun...pushed grease in until it just started to come out and then put the zerks back in. No problem...Edit: Been running these for a while & they are still going strong. One issue I do have is my drivers side spins a bit so you never know where the zerk fitting is going to end up. Not really a big deal, if you need to grease it you can spin it back to where it needs to be to get the grease gun on it. If you want to solve this issue I would recommend putting a little bit of RTV sealant on the area that goes inside the axle tube when you install. This would probably keep it from spinning.

Look at the seals before buying.
At this point in time I will take off 1 star for the red anodizing. Its very dull in color and not the best coating. I havent fitted the axle tube seals so I cant comment on the quality or longectivity of this product. The black outer section (as per the item picture) seems to be a rubber thats fused to the aluminum body. Once this rubber seal is damaged or perishes I cant see there being a replacement seal on the market. I may be wrong so do your research first before buying. If it is replaceable then the old one would have to be cut and somehow stripped without damaging the underlying aluminum. Maybe the competitors design with the three "O" rings as seals is a better option. I will return to update this review once item is fitted and tested.

Good but not great.
As with any product that is a universal design you mileage may vary a lot. Unfortunately... my mileage swung widely and made it slightly frustrating.I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a dana 30 front and no matter how I installed this seal the zerk fitting ended up in a spot that a grease gun could not get to it. So I tried many different variations to which none worked. Also trying to remove these is a thing of its own. Being that there is no lip or a spot to put a screwdriver or perhaps a pry bar into your left using the zerk fitting to pull it out.I will be heading to the parts store to get some 45 or 90 degree fittings to see if that will help my situation but at this point... be warned they may not work that well for your application.

Poopy to say the least
Unless you just rolled off the lot, prepare to invent a few curse words getting these in and congrats if you ever do. The build is like something you find at a Dollar store. I decided not to install because I prefer not to have to tear things apart when they fail....and they will fail.
