Fine crystal litter
This is good litter. It is very fine, so soft on paws, it absorbs pee and dessicates poo, and it is more fragrant than some litter I have tried. I WISH THAT Amazon would put it on a subscription.

GAME. CHANGER.
Is it a bit dramatic to say this cat litter changed my life? Because honestly, it did. I live in a small space and, though I know more than one litter box is desirable and recommended for two cats, it simply wasn't realistic for my household. So I used a good clumping clay litter with baking soda and scooped my one box at least twice a day into my litter genie, but still couldn't altogether escape the smell or the tracking, plus my cats were clearly not happy with the arrangement-- one of my cats had some litter box anxiety and was frequently covering and re-covering everything in the box, breaking up clumps and kicking litter out in the process.Rather than once again try to figure out how to make two boxes work, I decided to give this crystal litter a try first on the suggestion of a friend (I have one long-haired cat and one short-haired), and the cats took to it immediately. The cat who had been stressed about the box now only goes in to do her business, except when she actually races over to watch with fascination whenever I rake the crystals. I was truly blown away by how well it works--it really does absorb ALL liquid and urine odors. The only odors arise immediately after the cats poop, but all moisture from that is quickly absorbed as well, so the odor is less intense than it used to be.I still use the litter genie for convenience, but I could honestly get rid of it and scoop the poops directly into the toilet. Lingering odors are GONE. There is still a bit of tracking, but much, much less than with the clay litter. There are no gross, saturated clumps sticking to the box and the scoop. There is absolutely no hint of a "litter box smell" in my home anymore. Given that the instructions specify to only use 1" of it at a time, and the fact that it lasts two full weeks before needing to be replaced, it doesn't actually end up being much more expensive than my old brand, and the improved quality of life it has given me more than makes up for the $5 or so extra I'm paying per month (I expect this one container to last me about a month for 2 cats and one litter box).If you haven't tried this type of litter, DO IT. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.

There is dust, but only on the initial pour, but NO SMELL
I switched over to this from Tidy Cat Lightweight and LOVE IT. The cats took to it fine and as long as you're scooping and stirring it up daily (I've never waited longer than a day), there is NO ODOR. I live in a condo with an open floor plan and even ask people if they smell cat litter or something similar and they do not.Yes, there is dust on the initial pour into the box, but after that I've never noticed it when I scoop and stir. I'll only go back to clumping/clay litter if my cats start going outside the box. Good stuff.

Very weird smell when mixing
The litter absorbs great and makes for an “easy” clean up but the smell from the dust when mixing is almost unbearable. It’s supposed to be dust free and I do see my cats with less dust on their coat after using the box but when mixing the urine the dust rises and it’s just offensive. I noticed my cats not covering their poop with this litter too, not sure if it’s due to the smell. But I probably won’t be purchasing it again. To be clear it doesn’t smell when it’s not touched, I think the odor control is quite good actually, it’s only when mixing and I find myself holding my breathe, which I can’t say I’ve ever done with another litter.

Best Crystal Litter
This brand is my favorite litter. It absorbs scent very well and there have been fewer accidents since I started using it. It's important to scoop and stir daily, otherwise it will smell and get very gel-y. The dust is generally low, but not 0. If you do step on a piece of loose litter on the floor, you WILL feel it as it is quite sharp.

After one week both boxes looked like three weeks old
For many years Precious Cat was the only litter I used. Last year, using promotional sale and coupons, I purchased a supply that should last over a year. I cleaned an refilled both boxes (one cat, two boxes) and, as always, scooped the poop as soon as I noticed it and stirred the litter at least twice a day. Those two boxes for one cat should last up to two months, always did before. Mind you, I put the whole 8 lbs. into one box. After one week both boxes looked like three weeks old. A few days later I came from work to a stinking house. In this manner I used the whole supply in less than three months and the house never stopped stinking. I blamed my bad luck, but also considered that the aging cat's system might contribute to the problem. However, after I switched to Nature's Miracle, everything returned to normal.Several months forward, I decided to give Precious Cat another chance. After one week the box was soaked with moisture and the urine smell was in the air from almost day one. This litter acts exactly like DampRid - it extracts moisture from the air and drains it to the bottom of the box, emitting the urine odor to the air. It should do the opposite, it should absorb the odor and remove the moisture from the litter to the air.Thank you, Precious Cat, I won't be doing business with you ever again. I am sorry, after all those years that I swore by your brand.

Works Well
I had used Fresh Step crystals for years. Then they became cost prohibitive to me. I then switched to the Frisco brand of crystals on Chewy. Now they are out of stock. After much consideration, I decided to try Dr. Elsey's. They are more costly than Frisco, but being available helps. They seem to absorb really well and my cats had no problem with the switch. So if you also are in a quandry about crystals availablity try these. I think you will be happy with your choice.
