When you've been as miserable as I have for 20 years, you'll try anything. Two allergists and an ENT did little to solve my chronic sinus infections. A year ago, I read an article in an online medical website about a patient who solved his sinus problems with Mucinex. Worth a try, I thought. So I started taking one 12-Hour Mucinex every morning with my decongestant... plus two glasses of water to thin the secretions. (Also still use my steroid nasal spray, do twice-a-day nasal irrigations, and drink lots of water.) Haven't had a sinus infection since. Amazon and Costco have the best prices, and Amazon is easier. (Not handing out medical advice here, just sharing a successful experence.)

I got the flu really bad, chills, coughing, headache, But the thing that scared the crap out of me was not being able to breathe, shortness of breath, and with that your heart starts racing and you think you are going to pass out....or die. Terrible to lay done and try to sleep, even worse for breathing.Took one of these with FULL glass of water and the change was amazing. Within a 1/2 hour I was breathing, feeling better....during the next hours I would have a minor cough and spit up quarter size chunks of p helm.Several days of taking these, one per 24 hour period got more p helm, and more of the crap coughed up.I could sleep laying down, now I breathe just fine.
