The NT-USB pop filter fits fine
So I made the mistake of thinking that the pop filter for the NT-USB isn't compatible at first, because the base of the filter comes out offset to the side. However you literally just need to turn the mic a little bit to side as you mount it, and it'll fit just fine. Yes it ends up being a bit angled and one of the metal parts from the shock mount does press against the pop filter - but it has no bearing on the result. The bigger issue in terms of the NT-USB compatibility is accessing the monitoring and volume dials, as well as the 3.5mm jack for my headset. I ended up plugging in an extension cable in for easier future access should I want to swap my headset frequently. The dials are still accessible if awkward, though I don't think I'll be needing them that often, since I do most things software side. For the mount itself, my gripe is with the pivot - it wasn't strong enough to support the mount AND the microphone, without me really forcing it when tightening the joint. Not sure if it's a manufacturing fault or design flaw.Overall it does the job for my basic needs as a starter streamer.

Good quality microphone shock mount
Like all Rode products I've used the psm1 shock mount is well built and does the job well. If you've bought a Rode microphone I wouldn't recommend using a cheap shock mount. Instead, consider getting yourself a Rode boom arm and Rode shock mount to go with it as they're sturdy and will take the weight. I can't recommend it for other brands of mics although I have heard of others using this with Yeti mics and Audio Technica mics. You'll find reviews on YouTube if you need to see if it's compatible with your microphone. Also, if your mic hasn't got a built-in pop filter I'd recommend buying the Rode SM6 instead of this as it comes with a pop filter.I use this with the RØDE Podcaster microphone and the RØDE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm.

Not compatible with Rode NT-USB Microphone
This item is recommended with the purchase of a Rode NT-USB Microphone. But it's not fully compatible.First you have to remove the pop up filter that comes with the the Rode NT-USB (which is a shame because it's a very good filter). Once the mic is fitted on the shock mount, it is difficult to access the two dials on the side and plugin headphones is tricky.

Great for NT-USB
Most of the product is made of metal which means it should last a long time, the shock absorbing strings are think and feel pretty strong and shouldn't break anytime soon, overall its a good solid product.Currently using with my Rode NT-USBThere are restrictions with the microphones functionality when in the shock mount and the headphone input is restricted however this can be solved by rotating the microphone but its still quite fiddly, though i dont use the microphone as my audio interface so its perfect!Great stand and a good quality company

Good mount. NT USB filter incompatible.
Nice enough and cheap enough BUT it is not entirely compatible with the OEM pop filter/shield that comes with the Rode NT. It can fit - just about - but the filter makes contact with the outer cradle of the mount. This kind of makes the isolation of the mic void as the filter bridges the gap between the surfaces and can potentially transmit vibration (just don't smack your desk :)).Only purchased this because amazon put it in a bundle that was recommended. I should have checked to be fair but its worth considering. The mount works just fine without the filter though.

Yep, spot on - works with my NT-USB perfectly ...
Yep, spot on - works with my NT-USB perfectly. Other folks are right in that it makes it difficult to access the controls on the NT-USB's side, but it's not a deal breaker, and you still CAN access them, just awkwardly.Top notch, get it.

Elastic can stretch with some Rode mics
Update: Originally I gave this 5 stars because at first it was perfect. However after using this with the Rode Procaster, which is an end address mic, I've found this shock mount really doesn't like holding mics horizontally, or at 45 degrees. This has stretched the elastic and I'm struggling to re-string it so it doesn't touch the outer ring (thus picking up noise). It works well for a while and I can't think of an obvious alternative. So when it is good it's really good, but after a while it sags beyond the point you can adjust.I'm sad to say that when I contacted Rode customer support they didn't even bother replying (that's minus another star). It is odd how companies like Rode don't bother with customer care, whereas when I had a problem with a Neewer product they sent out replacement parts the same day. I judge a company a lot by how they respond to a problem so I feel really let down by Rode.

Fantastic for Rode Microphones
Great shock mount for any RODE Microphone. Seems to absorb pretty much all of the shock and leave you with a tap instead. Used to have a Blue Yeti Microphone and upgraded to a RODE NT1 (which is now in the PSM1 Shock Mount) and before having it in the shock mount, a tap on my desk would send a boom down the microphone, now a tap on the desk sends a tap through the microphone - VERY noticeable difference.
