Only one drawback on this item
I needed to get my bike mounted up and out of the way, and this device seemed perfect with the 14" standoff from the wall.Couple of things to be noted:1. It HAS to mount to a stud. Do NOT mount it straight to drywall. I missed the stud on my first attempt, and when I mounted up the bike it came right back out of the wall. Spackling compound works wonders in a case like this. I re-calibrated my stud finder and found the middle of the stud. Mounted up no problem and held the bike without a problem.2. It has a 40# weight capacity. Most bikes nowadays are not that heavy so it should not be a problem.3. The arms are 14" long so make sure from the center of your handlebar post to the end of the handlebar is less then this and you won't have a problem.4. This is the little drawback I had, but it was enough to lose a star. The bracket will swing up to 45 degrees left or right. There is a locking nut for you to lock it where you want it. Unfortunately, no matter how tight I tightened the locking nut, the bike still tilted to the right instead of staying level. Maybe some LocTite Red will do the trick, but this should not have to be done. You can see the lean to the right in the photo (and yes I DID straighten out the handle bars..LOL)All in all it is worth the money if you need to raise your bike off the ground, if you can live with the swing on the arms. It may not happen on all of this model but it happened on my. Still worth the purchase.

Works ok
This is one of the only bike racks I could find that would clearly support a "girls" frame with the slanting frame tube. They did fail to include the allen wrench listed in the instructions, instead giving me an extra bolt, for some reason, but that was no real problem. To their credit they provided screws that were of good quality for mounting the bracket; far too often products of this type provide inferior grade screws but they did a good job there. Instructions should include a comment on how high up to position the bracket for a standard bike size (as defined by tire size, maybe) as I had to guesstimate it. Overall a worthwhile product.

Perfect. Simple. And clean.
This bike rack is perfect.I had my bike taking up space in my apartment and needed a solution. It took me a year to finally decide on where to put the bike and then decide on a bike rack. I didn’t know what worked well for a beach cruiser bike. Most bikes and bike racks show kinda the typical mountain bikes that have a straight bar across the bike. So I wasn’t sure about my bike. Then I wasn’t sure about the bikes weight. It’s pretty heavy. But this bike rack is working perfectly. My bike fit perfectly on my wall. And is holding up. Glad I settled on this bike rack.

Does the job!
It’s not the prettiest, and it still has a little bit of wiggle, but, at the end of the day this thing does the job.Easy to install with one caveat: make sure you find studs!
