Really nice feel, excellent value
I upgraded from a Microsoft Comfort Curve 3000 keyboard, which got constant use for several years. I had started to wear out the lettering on the keys and got irritated with it as it wore out. I'd read about mechanical keyboards, so I tried some out at a local big box store. The really heavy-duty mechanical keyboards feel good, but are actually pretty loud when you type on them. So the search was on for a quiet mechanical-type keyboard. I found this one on Amazon, and the comments got me to try it.I like it a lot, this is a really good keyboard, especially for the price. It's very solid and doesn't move or flex at all. The keys feel very nice, and the real surprise is that it's as quiet, or even a bit quieter, than my old Microsoft ergo keyboard. After a very short time, I was able to adjust and touch-type without having to check where my fingers were.I have some comments on this, they are minor tweaks I'd like to see in a future version.1. The font on the keys looks like it was chosen to be "cool" but it makes some of the letters less readable than they could be. Any letter with closed loops, like a B or an O, has a small gap in the loop somewhere. This is a bit annoying and makes some letters harder to read quickly. You get used to it, but it could be better.2. I really like that you can change the colors of the backlighting without needing to use any software - just tap a special key. But, since they seem to be using multi-colored LEDs, why are we limited to only three colors (dark blue, green and aqua)? Let us flip through lots more colors - I'd like pure white, and add in red as well. Go through all the basic colors and let me adjust the brightness, like it works right now.3. Why are the LEDs behind the Num Lock/Caps Lock/Windows key lock different than the rest? They are always blue and much brighter than the rest of the keyboard, even if you set the blue to the brightest setting. These should ideally match the rest of the keyboard.4. In the next version, break out the media control keys - I'd like play/pause, volume + and volume - up on the top right. The three Num Lock/Caps Lock/Windows Lock buttons look like they do something, but they don't. Replace them with the media buttons and put the Num Lock/etc. LEDs somewhere else, without the button over them. Just give them a small horizontal slot.

Lasts a long time
I have used this keyboard for many years in the silver one. Dont buy it based on the RGB,though the backlight is nice. Its basic. Do buy it based on longevity. I am happy that there is a black one. The silver one its replacing has lasted through gaming and general use for 3 years no issue, trying out 6 different manufacturers before this. This one is great. Fells good and is not the clicky type but responds very well in gaming

WAY TOO bright underneigth the keys! blinds one from seeing the letters! WELL built, otherwise
The board is built really well - even has a metal chassis! The problem is that all the keys are raised and the lighting below is so bright that it hurts my eyes and I literally had a hard time seeing the lit-up letters on the keys themselves. I have older eyes and the entire point of a back lit board is to see the letters.

Bright, sturdy, great touch. Why pay more?
Just what I was after and more. Typing in a dimly lit room has always been a problem but, no more. The adjustable brightness and so many color choices should suit anyone. You can use it in a totally dark room. The lettering on the keys is lit through the key so it'll never wear off and is very visible. The area around the keys is lit too. This is a very solid and stable keyboard, the key stroke feel is great, almost mechanical but not too stiff. This is not a wireless keyboard which I didn't need but should be noted if that is what you want. I have not programmed any hot keys so no comment there. The picture is in a dark room at medium brightness. I was not paid for this purchase or review.

Stay away, mine was shorted and damaged my PC.
I liked the aluminum base, the keys felt ok, and the colors were pretty cool. For the price I thought it was amazing... THOUGHT it was amazing...I had this strange problem where if I typed 'shift+o' it would lock up my PC for a few seconds. At first I only noticed this in discord, and I thought it was a discord thing. But I soon noticed that it happened to any program I did this in. My PC started to have more and more problems. Eventually I started having problems with it booting. I decided to swap the Keyboard with a basic one in my closet, that's when I knew for sure the 'shift+o' problem was the keyboard, but I also noticed that I a couple other problems I was having on my USB ports disappeared... Unfortunately, I realized this all too late. The motherboard on my PC has suffered damage, I did quite a bit of troubleshooting to get this figured out.Stay away, not only will it fail you, but it may try to take your computer with it.

Great buy for $25
This keyboard is worth every bit of $26 dollars. I got the white keys version from a different supplier for around $35 and have no regrets on either purchase. For ~$25 I am getting a backup, this black key version! It has a windows lockout key function, which helps out with those accidental presses during gaming. There are 3 color settings, the lighter blue goes with my monitors arena lighting. The base of the keyboard is weighted well, and the layout is compact enough for my needs (I don't care about extra additional function keys beyond F-keys). There are also additional function keys for volume and video streaming commands, etc.I have been using the keyboard around a month now, and haven't really found any complaints yet. There is some minor light bleeding through the center of space bar, but not enough for me to really care.

Excelente compra!

Heavy, build to last, looks great
Amazing keyboard is all i can say. It's build well and i love the feel of it. It almost feels like an old school typewriter from back in the day. The leds look great on all settings too. Now my wife wants one

Very high quality
Excellent keyboard. I liked it so much that I got a second one. It's satisfying to type on, the LED looks good, it has some good weight to it and feels like a premium expensive device. One important warning: I got this keyboard with the impression that it would be easy to clean. IE, the keys are elevated above the base, and the keys look removable. Note that the spacebar is NOT easily removable. It's actually screwed in. So, my dog ran into my chair, and i spilled some coffee on my keyboard, and I realized that cleaning this damn thing would be a day-long endeavor, as the whole thing needs to be completely disassembled to simply pop off the spacebar. It's not meant to be disassembled, let's leave it at that. It's complex.Another minor thing is that one of my keys started squeaking after a few weeks. However it was an easy fix as I just put a tiny bit of WD-40 on it and haven't had any issues since.
