The batteries themselves are great. The packaging they came in is horrible. 10 batteries thrown in a small plastic bag without even being insulated from one another. This is extremely dangerous. The opposite ends of the batteries are able to touch one another within the packaging. This could cause overheating and a possible fire. Not to mention with loose battery like this I have no way of knowing if these batteries are even new or not. I am very unhappy

I was very disappointed when I received these batteries and saw that they had an early expiry date of 2021. Normally Duracell batteries have at least a 10 year expiry time-frame. I use these in the newer small fire alarms that last about 2-3 years for each alarm, so most of these batteries (6-7) will be useless by 2021. Total waste of money!In the future, I will buy my batteries from a dealer that sells OEM Duracell batteries with the full 10 year guarantee.

For the price I was willing to take a hit on shelf life/expiration date. Unfortunately the hit was much worse than advertised on the product listing. Five years instead of ten. Not cool.

10 batteries thrown loose into a small bag where they make contact with each other. The size of the package was around the size of 1/4 of a sand which bag. Spend a couple more dollars and buy straight from Amazon.
