Great grip, smooth and silky finish. Not a fan of the hole in the back but that’s also good. Among Otterbox’s good collection for XR.The 2 blues are distinct and look classy. Surely good protection as the corners are well rounded and raised.

I had another Otterbox that, while it held up to drops, the outer decorative covering peeled. This design is much better, being a matte finish, thick poly with a subtle texture. There is nothing to peel. I've dropped my phone several time, as I am a klutz, and this case has protected my phone thus far. The case extends beyond the face of the phone which I appreciate, especially when the phone is placed face down on a table or other hard surface.The color is an attractive peacock blue. I like this case a lot!

In a nutshell:Pros:1. Product is excellent and assured that even if it falls from 6 feet, there would not be any damage to the phone.2. Easy to install3. Good grip with rubber(y) feeling4. Goes well with a screen-guard.CONS:1. BULKY - Trust me - the phone becomes twice the width. XR by no means is a small phone, but this cover beefs up... feels like a wrestler is pumped with air! This would ensure that you have to use both your hands to operate the phone.2. The blue colour appears dark in the images but in actual is towards a lighter shade of blue. Its not bad, but does feel odd for a colour other than black phone (I have a red).3. I actually prefer to close the screen when not in use. hence I have returned this and placed order for an otterbox Strada.This is definitely a decent product and would make sure that your expensive investment (a joke to call a phone) is protected but adds a lot of bulk to existing bulk.

Nice and durable! I love the raised edges on front and back that protect the screen and camera from getting damaged if dropped. It has a great all around grip that keeps it from slipping out of your hand. You have great grip even with a sweaty hand. The charger port cover is great from keeping lint from building up in the charging port. Now I don’t have to clean out the port. It’s the best case I’ve ever had and held in my hand.P.S. The blue is not as dark and gloomy as it is shown online. It’s a nice color blue.

So, I'm not one of those people who just sets there phone on a desk or table. My phone goes with me everywhere. Hunting, camping, lawn chores, deck building and boating. So far I haven't had a phone break or crack. Not even the screen. That's why I use Otterbox. It's design protects the phone and screen. I wore out the last one, not surprisingly. Great product. Lots cheaper than replacing the phone. The cover arrived on time and fits great.
