These are good for shorter periods of cooling like 2-3 hours with frozen cool blocks inside. They are lightweight and fold down to quite slim.With that said there is no real amount of insulation and seems to rely on one foil layer and maybe a thin foam padding on the back of that for insulation - not the kind of cooler bag you could load up in the morning with cold ones and some ice, walk around all day and still have them cold by the afternoon. For the price they are good value though.
