Gardening life saver.
I was hesitant about this purchase , but so many other gardeners were suggesting to use these to keep rodents from eating my garden produce. So, I purchased them, I covered my " prime" tomatoes, and happy to report that nothing took a bite or peck of them. The bag opening is large enough to make it easy to slip up over the tomato, and when it was time to remove the bag it came right off . Plus, you can reuse the bag. I only used mine on tomatoes but the bag is large enough to use on other garden items. Yes, I would buy these again!

Ineffective against squirrels
We have about 50 fruit trees. This is their first year producing fruit. Squirrels ate 1/3 of the green fruit (apples and peaches) before we ordered the bags. After we covered the fruit with the bags, the squirrels ate the other 2/3 by gnawing through the bags or just chewing off the stem of the fruit and then opening the bag on the ground or leaving the fruit to rot.In theory, these are a good idea. They just did not work for me.

I moved them from fruit tree to fruit tree and saved my crops.
This year I only lost apx four fruits to critters. I used these on the nectarine tree and the apricot tree. They are still on the persimmon tree and apple tree. Soon I will place them on the grapes and pomegranate tree. Last year something ate all the pomegranates. It seems that, when I look at the fruit and decide that tomorrow is the day to harvest, some bird or other critter has the same thought and destroys my crop. Not this year.

Not very effective
The critters around here had these bags pulled off the tree and single nibbles out of every single pear. I think the bags helped them find the fruit easier! Also the bags they couldn’t wiggle open they simply chewed through. If your using the bags to protect from insects they work. Otherwise not worth it.

Bags seem to work good on my persimmons against birds
Forget the drawstring !!! Use plastic tie straps, safety wire, wrapped wire wraps from grocery store, or regular string, but below the top so you can get a snug choke. Bags seem to work good on my persimmons against birds. Got my fingers crossed since fruit is not ripe yet. I'll try them on my grapes next year, too. My neighbor complained about birds eating some of his grapes, until a deer visited his address, harvested all his grapes, and part of his grapevines, too. I doubt these will work with deer or squirrels.
