I have mine on two studs and I don't believe the base plate is long enough to reach three studs. Regardless, it is very sturdy on just the two. I have an older Sony XBR flat panel that is significantly heavier than most newer TV's and have had zero issues. This is a great mount.

Q: Will this mount work with Samsung's 75 inch TVs?

We have 3 wall mounted tv's in our home and we only buy Sanus Wall Mounts due to the heavy duty steel they are made of. On this particular model, we have a 80" LED tv mounted and it is solid. Not sure what your 75" tv is, i.e. Plasma, LED, etc., but just confirm the weight of your tv before hanging.

Q: I'm looking for a TV wall mount for an 80" LED. The TV will be in a 17' x 14' media rm. Is the "tilt" feature necessary?

I have my 80" TV hanging 31" from the floor measured to the bottom edge of the TV. The tilt is not necessary in this case. My TV, a Sharp Aquous, also does not recommend tilt for 80" TV, likely due to weight distribution when adjusting tilt may put too much stress to the mounting points of the TV.

Q: I have a panasonic TC-P65VT60. Do I need the Sanus VMXA1 Adapter Bracket or does the VMPL3 directly mount to this TV?

The mounting holes on the back of your screen appear to be 684mm wide by 300mm tall. That means you will NOT need the VMXA1
