3M Hand-Masker Painter's Plastic Plus, 9 x 400-Feet, MFB-9

The Painter's Plastic has been a game-changer for my painting around the house and on several projects. This product is just the round of the mill plastic, but of good quality as it makes the masking process quick and straightforward. It comes with a lot for the price allowing me to cover large areas without constantly needing to replace the roll or cut up for many projects. The plastic is durable yet lightweight, making it easy to handle and cut to the desired length for anything I required. One of the major pros is its 'clinging' ability. It sticks well to surfaces, preventing paint from seeping through and protecting areas from overspray. This has saved me significant time and effort in cleanup, ensuring a professional-looking result every time for my DIY projects. There are a few minor drawbacks with this. The plastic can sometimes be a bit tricky to unroll and manage single-handedly, especially if you're working in tight spaces in the crawlspace. Also, while the plastic is durable, it can occasionally tear if caught on sharp edges or rough surfaces, so extra care is needed during the job. Watch for loose nails. In the end, this product is a nice to have for any painting project. Worked great for all my painting and crawlspace needs..

The length of 9 feet is perfect for covering floor to ceiling. I used this to avoid the mess when removing popcorn ceiling. Worked perfectly! The plastic is statically charged which makes it stick to the wall on its own. That's very helpful as it makes it easier to hang up if you're working alone and you need less tape. It took me about 45 minutes to cover the whole room (16x16 sqft). It captured all the dust from the ceiling removal perfectly and clean up was easy peasy. No mess! I can highly recommend this product and will certainly come back when I need more. But 400 feet length is plenty to cover a few more rooms.

Works well enough

Pretty good stuff, sticks to the walls well: Only have to tape the top and bottom. The one downside: If you have any kind of turbulent airflow in the room it will likely pull the untaped sections of the plastic away from the walls. Next time I will tape midway down the wall also.

Durable . Nice to use better than cheaper stuff I have bought in past

Gotta lay it out right and it makes painting walls a breeze. Tape the trim with 2 inch tape, leaving the excess tape sticking out. Roll out the plastic, the correct way, connect to tape, then pull it out. Easy peasy. Would definitely buy again if I need it and run out out of what I have left. It's very thin, so you have to be careful when moving stuff on it, but it did what I needed it to do, protect my carpet from paint.

What can I say. Its good quality painter's plastic at a decent price.

Make sure you have it taped down but it’s a good plastic , especially for the price . I’ll be a repeat customer
