Used to hang two pictures with plenty left as spare

It's easy to use

I was pleased to have received it and I didn't need to pay for a ball of string which I didn't know if it was the correct type for hanging pictures. I tied it to the 2 (1 each end of the long canvass) metal rings designed for string hanging. Immediately I was facing 2 problems, firstly, the string is has a soft but slippery coating so after tying a double knot (I've hung lots of pics with just a normal ball of string but not for many yrs and never a heavy mirror which is what I was finally going to use this for) which I pulled very hard but the knots where coming undone when I picked up the canvass (light) so I used 2 pairs of pliers to tie it as tight as I could possibly do. Gladly and unfortunately one gripped whilst the other came undone so I used gorilla glue and strong tape which kept it firmly in place! Secondly, when I pulled, considering I tied it horizontal but without any give, it was extremely tight, nevertheless, the string was way too stretchy and was, if fitted, a half a foot visible above the top of pic frame. Honestly I was extremely frustrated by this time. Finally, I used, as before, loads of duck tape and stuck it firmly many times across the back to diminish the stretch. It finally worked but not without a load of hassle. It is NO good for hanging anything, it's to slippery and far too stretchy - please don't waste your money on this only if you fancy a very frustrating challenge. Sorry, for lengthy summing up but wanted you to be cognizant of how false advertising works?! I will buy some normal strong string for mirror 🪞🤬!

Good quality strong cord for hanging heavy pictures, clocks etc, or just for securing heavy objects, for example used it to secure a rolled up mattress I was transporting to the council dump. Lots of uses, would recommend.
