Garbage !!! Absolute Cheap made waste of $$$
I re-powered a leaf vac with the Predator 22 hp engine. Although this is a commercial leaf vac, I rationalized to my self that I am using it only at my personal residence. So the leaf vac might get used for 5 hours per year at fall clean up (long driveway... lots of leaves). I said to myself... how bad can the Predator be ? Even if it lasts only 1/2 as long as the Briggs Vanguard 22 HP engine that it was replacing, that still is longer than I will live using it only 5 or 8 hrs each yearWell.. I re-powered the machine. All the specs are identical to the Briggs, so everything just bolted right on with no mods needed. Clone engine of the Briggs. All was well... but I missed the leaf cleanup season by the time I put it all back together. Come spring I went to use it for some minor spring clean up.... In less than 2 hours use the crankshaft sheared off at the output shaft. On review.. others had the same happen to their crankshafts. Cheap pot metal garbage.I was about 30 days past the 90 day return policy but brought the engine and receipt to Harbor Freight. HF would do nothing for me. Total waste of $$$. No parts are avail even if I wanted to rebuild this cheaply made Chinese knock off with a new crankshaft.Stay away.. run away... Do repeat my expensive mistake !

Great Engine
This is a great little engine with alot of power, i bought one at Harbor Freight last year, and use it to turn a corn grist mill a very large one, and it does not even grunt, however, drain all oil right away before filling and change the fuel filter right away, other than that, great product, 5 stars.

Good motor I run it with my 8gpm 3500psi pressure washer! change the fuel pump to a gx630 pump and ad your own filter and it should last a while. I purchased mine from harbor freight for around $600

Ok
I used this motor for pressure washing it good for a buck up and if you need something really fast but don't buy it at Amazon it 100 more than at store harbor f### you know the rest of the name..but do spend on a brand name this motor will usually last maybe a year, brand name it could last 5 years if you do regular maintenance

Save your money and buy a reliable engine. Engine came defective from the factory.
The media could not be loaded. This engine was in its break in stage and output shaft seal started leaking. Come to find out, the shaft has so much play in it that it has warped the crankcase house and you can slip a dime between the shaft and the house as well as a brand new seal. 2 hours and this engine is as good as gone. Stay away…far far away from this brand. Save your money and buy a better brand. It will be worth it in the long run.

Return policy!
Buy your motor at Harbor Freight. They have a 90 day return policy and you can buy the extended protection. I just swapped out a 2 month old 459cc for a new one. Was using it on my CKS surface drive and it started blowing oil out the seal. Same with my 670cc, this is my 3rd one. They are junk no question but the Honda version is near $3 grand.

Hit and miss with this engine.
I bought one of these from a company that sells a lot of them - you know the one. Engine ran three hours and oil was pouring out of the shaft seal. Thought it was a bad seal, but turned out that I could move the shaft up and down by hand - which destroyed the seal. Removed the back plate. There is no ball bearing to support the shaft, but a bearing surface which is part of the backplate. The bottom of this bearing surface was badly warn with metal shavings. Not sure if the problem was with the backplate or if there was something wrong with the crankshaft. Motor was junk after 3 hours of running time.
