It's a Klein Product, I'll continue to support them.
I own well over 10 grand in Klein tools and gear. The brand has shown over the passed 25 years that it's a quality product, holds up to actual heavy daily use and they continue to add new items to their line of products. My old sling strap finally gave out after 7 years, love the new ergonomic design of the new one. Nice and light, strong metal clips for my pouch and I love the rubberized material on the underside of the actual shoulder piece, truly keeps it in place on my shoulders and doesn't slip off.

Great strap.
Like most things “Klein”, it’s very well made, stitching is very strong, padding is adequate. It’s a little long for me so I shortened mine and re-sewed the catches. It’s heavy strapping.Good tools, I’m happy with it.“It’s a tool strap”

Almost Perfect!
I bought this strap to replace a strap on a leather laptop bag / briefcase, which had both size adjusters snap off of it a few months back. I felt like tossing the bag after it broke, but decided to keep it, as I didn't want to spend a bunch of money for a new one, when I already had a perfectly good bag! Lo' and behold, after some research, I found this strap. There's not too much to say about the strap, other than that it reminds me of a seat belt, folded over itself, stitched, with a padded shoulder pad on it. Oh, and metal clasps on both ends of it. But this thing is solid! After it arrived in the mail, I quickly put it on, adjusted it, and tried it out. I didn't think I'd ever say it, but this strap is comfortable! Much more than the other strap that originally came with my bag. I'm sure the majority of the comfort of it is the shoulder pad itself. Either way, it feels nice, and I won't have a problem carrying around a laptop, tablet, kindle, assorted cables, and a few file folders in my bag with this strap on.I had to take a star off of the rating, due to the fact that the clasps at both ends were solid, and not swivel. It's a minor thing to nitpick about, I know. However, it's something that could have easily been put in for an extra buck or so, and would have kept me from having to adjust the entire strap every time I put it on, rather than just rotating the clasps. Oh well! All in all, definitely a good buy if you're looking for one. Note that it's not very "luxurious looking". It's more industrial, since it was originally meant to go with the Klein line of toolbags. But it is a nice, dark black color, and it works for what I need it for.

Klein gits 'er done and how!
I wasn't expecting much for so few bucks and what a pleasant surprise. This strap has it going on: excellent materials, quality construction and handsome appearance Wish all my friends were this hot!I spend everyday walking blocks with both a hardshell guitar case and messenger bag strapped to my body, so a strong and comfy strap is very important to me. This Klein found a home on my guitar case but would be equally good on a messenger bag, camera bag or other shoulder luggage. I have owned and worn out a lot of straps from Swiss Army, Eagle Creek, Skooba and many others. Despite being 1/3 to 1/2 the price of those other straps the Klein is as good as the best of them. The hardware is heavy duty metal (matte chrome) and the hook gates are so tight they will never be accidentally released (unlike the loose as a goose Swiss Army strap hooks). The use of 2" nylon seatbelt webbing is common for straps but not in this price range. The pad is ultra grippy, soft and flexes around my shoulder, perfectly distributing a heavy load.I have never heard of Klein until I bought this strap but kudos to them for making such a high quality and reasonably priced product in the USA. Not sure why the other straps cost so much when they are made in China. But for only $12.95, I plan to buy another Klein strap or two.

All bag shoulder straps should be more like this
The pad is correctly made, i.e. curved, and totally covered in high friction material. It will stay on your shoulder far longer than typical bag straps. The pad, being the main item in the strap stays as it is rathern than .... as with sheaper strap with a sliding shoulder wider pad bit, keeps sliding off or come askew. The other important design feature is the use of two adjustment bickles as as to allow the pad to stay where it is and the length of the strap be adjustd according to user desired. Cheap straps only has one adjustment buckle and invariable they end up at a position along the strap where it sits on your shoulder and digs in. Remember the sliding shoulder pad mentioned above ? Well it is useless because it can't slide under such an adjustment buckle, precisely where you want to have padding to prevent the buckle hurting you. So don't buy a laptop bag without buying this strap. These are the reasons why I am throwing away all the original laptop straps away and to replace with theis one. Yes, it cost the same as some of the laptop bags but they are otherwise useless.

Good solid shoulder strap
It is a very good, solid shoulder strap that I rigged up to a quite heavy bag I have to lug around occasionally for work. The padded piece doesn't slip off the shoulder, so that's a bonus. Reason it got 3 stars for value for money is that I don't think it should be as pricey as it is, but so far, it has been a great product.

Super solid and very hardy compared to the stock strap ...
Super solid and very hardy compared to the stock strap on my Kuny bag that snapped suddenly, while I was up high and almost lost some tools. Anyways, would of been nice if the strap had pivot like on the stock bag, but is a very very minor thing.
