Essential reference
This is an excellent reference book. As a machinist of over 40 years, I have accumulated a number of dial indicators from a number of manufacturers. The first one I got, and required by my tech school was the legendary Last Word. I'm also a clock maker, watchmaker and instrument repairman. I also work on antique music boxes. I have a number of Starrett Last Words, AGD styles and more. I'm going into semi retirement and plan on restoring and calibrating dial indicators as a side gig. Rene Urs Meyer and Long Island Indicator Services produce really excellent reference materials. If you are interested in this subject, I can recommend no finer reference materials.
