Sleep is so important
I tried to find over the counter sleep medicine due to the fact my doctor said the Missouri Board for the Healing Arts won’t permit my use of Ambien with the other meds I take. I’ve used Ambien for years mainly when I’m away from home or I’ve gotten the flu or bad cold. Hate that others that have never examined or even had a conversation with me are coming between me and my doctor. No two people react to meds the same exact way and I know thru experience that it’s even trial and error with my doctor to try to find the right medication and the to find the right dosage. Be that as it may I was prescribed a new drug from my doctor that I was able to sleep, really knocked me out but the next day was about a 4 hour fog and it messed up my stomach for a day and a half. So, I read online reviews til I couldn’t see straight to find something over the counter and Rem Tabs sounded like the ticket. Not so for me. Did not work at all. I was on vacation and it stinks when you can’t get a good nights sleep. Anyone who has sleeping problems knows what it’s like. I went for years without problems and never thought about it. Why would you if things are good but when problems arise then you think about it. Anyway, all I know is RemTabz did not work for me but might for next person. I read up on Ambien when I was told no more and found it is considered a hypnotic and not everyone should take it. For me it was great and I had no side effects. After 7 to 8 hours of very sound sleep I woke and was immediately alert and felt rested and energized due to, I think, I got great deep sleep. The RemTabz was a bit expensive I think but anyone would pay and pay for great sleep. I believe Gentech is the parent company and they don’t say anything useful for the consumer about their product. Maybe a red flag. Who knows, it could be a sugar pill for all we know. In conclusion, RemTabz no good for me. FYI the Gentech website was down in mi July which is where you can purchase the product. Fortunately for me I got through Amazon with someone in Florida, which did work. Apparently they must have purchased much of this and were selling thru Amazon before Gentech’s webpage went down. No problem getting through this seller and was as advertised including the price.

Decent Replacement for Lunesta
Got tired of paying almost $400 out of pocket for Lunesta due to insurance change. This was the alternative others mentioned in my research. It's better than I thought it would be - better than melatonin or Valerian. Have been taking it for about 6 months. Do have some nights that are hard to sleep, if I am over stressed.

It worked great for two nights but not on the third so I have started skipping a night in between. It helps me to fall asleep in about thirty minutes but could only stay asleep for six hours . I awake refreshed though and not drowsy at all.

A Placebo?
This was for my wife as a replacement for Ambien, not even close. I gave it 2 stars because I have not tried it yet. If it works for me will revise rating.

The bottle in the ad shows 30 capsules. The bottle I received has 60. The ingredients on my bottle do not match the ingredients listed on the Lexium website. This is an update to my original review. Apparently, Lexium reformulated this product. What I received is what Lexium now sells. It didn't do much for me.
