PetAction Plus is my go to cat flea treatment that saves us money! I have tried some other treatments that claim they ‘compare to’ other name brands, but they have never compared as well as PetAction does for us. Especially since we have to treat 5 indoor cats monthly. We had been buying a box at a time at a big name membership club and getting 8 doses per box, but it seemed they were out of stock most of the time when I needed it. So I compared prices on here, and buying 3 boxes, although less applications per box, ended up saving us more money. So now I’ll treat the cats year around instead of summer and fall only. We shall see if that helps with the infestation we usually get in late summer.

We use this on an older cat of ours that was an indoor/outdoor cat that is now a permanent resident outside. We keep an eye on her and haven't found any fleas or ticks on her and she doesn't seem to scratch much...so I can only assume that this is working. We put a new dose on her the 1st of every month and it's been about a year since we started using it...all of which has been a flea-less 12 months. We use the dog version on our dogs as well.

I was actually surprised that this was cheaper than frontline and advantage and worked the same. Usually when I buy and “off brand” or a different brand other than frontline and advantage it makes the back of my cats neck area hair fall out and irritate my cat. This did not and still did it’s job. I’m going to keep buying this from now on. I also read the ingredients list and it has the same as frontline... half the price just about. Hope this helps!

While it did work on my cats it did not work on my girlfriends cats. It looks as if it works great as a preventative but not necessarily to treat an active infestation. The active ingredients my be the same but the other ingredients may be different leading to it being not as effective as Frontline.

I've been on the quest to find inexpensive flea prevention treatment that works. In this case, this product is a huge fail based on others I have tried.I have 4 strays my daughter has taken in through the years and a huge dog. One cat likes to roam outside and he brings company with him every time he comes back in. I've treated my home with PreCor (Amazon has the best prices) and the pets every month. I purchased Pet Action Plus last month. It has been the absolute worst month we've had in years!!! Although I never saw a flea, I knew they had them based on the incessenant scratching day and night. This product was worse than putting water on them.My house has been treated repeatedly, daily vacuuming the floors and furniture, clean under everything, all bedding is washed weekly yet the cats are still miserable!Advantage 2 is the only stuff that works besides Revolution from the vets office. I just tried Adveca 2 which says it's the same as Advantage 2 but only $19.99 at Amazon. Over half the price of Advantage 2. I am praying it worksDo not purchase pet action plus it doesn't work.

Wow that was fast shipping!! Very grateful for that too because I wasn’t watching the calendar and got nervous we’d be two weeks late in keeping applications one month apart. We’ve successfully used this for awhile now and for our two cats it’s working wonderfully with no changes in their behavior or health. . . Besides less flea biting and itching of course.
