sturdy, weighty enough so it won't fall over. fits the moto x 2nd gen perfectly. i like mine the only minor issue i had was with my usb cable. when the phone for example is placed vertically the micro usb connector needs be either short and stubby or have enough flex to bend. i have a half dozen micro usb cables and only two would work. the others either had a connector that was too long or the cables were to rigid. you need a flexible and or short micro usb connector. just something to keep in mind. that said nice being able to work and not have to look down periodically to check the phone. also nice not having to worry about knocking it over (the last stand i tried fell over all the time). i have the silver and based on that no matter the color you select you will get a very metallic almost industrial look. for myself the price, form and function all good. as for devices as said fits my moto x perfectly but i have even placed my daughter's 8" tablet on it and it is stable.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do:- Securely holds even large phones both in portrait and landscape modes.- The space underneath and the continuous vertical slot allows for a nice fit in portrait mode when the charging cord is plugged in (including easily placing the phone on or removing it without the need to plug/unplug the charging cord). If the cord touches the bottom or gets kinked, the stand may need a little adjusting - opening up - but being aluminum it's easy to do.4 starts for having a somewhat rough finish. It does not interfere with its functionality at all, but there is a lot of room to improve it esthetically.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this stand after a fairly extensive search for an elegant and minimalistic way to prop up my phones. There are several comparable products just here on Amazon - it came down to this and the Elago stands. I ended up going with BlueMart for its aluminum construction, minimalist design and great price (less than half of the Elago).As you can see from my video review, the stand is a single piece of aluminum with decent thickness and mass. Build quality is nice - there was a small nick in the back of the stand, but it was cosmetic and didn't affect functionality in any way. There are places for rubber feet on the stand but it doesn't actually come with it. It's a nice touch - if you needed extra traction and stability, these placeholders would be handy for attaching extra rubber feet. I tested the stand as is, and it is very stable even on carpet with a HTC One and HTC Rezound (both in Seidio Surface cases) in both landscape and portrait orientations. The edges are slightly rough, but for the most part they rounded and not sharp at all. It probably isn't as nicely done as the Elago stand, but for about $10, it's not bad at all. I do think it can potentially scratch a naked HTC One or iPhone 5/5s. Personally I am going to keep the case on just to be safe.The packaging looked a little suspect - it was taped up as if it was an open box or return item. The packaging's English description was riddled with misspellings and poor grammar. I was relieved when the stand itself turned out much better than the packaging would suggest. There's also a piece of yellow velcro inside the box for your cables. It's tacky and doesn't match the silver aluminum look. But this is pretty minor in my book.All in all, a nice stand at a decent price.

Very handy sitting on my desk. I use it for my WindowsPhone. Problem was the cable plugs in on the bottom and the design prevented it from sitting correctly on the mount. I made a few modifications to get it to work. I removed the aluminum piece in between the slot on the front. I then used a vice an changed the angle of the front arms allowing the depth to increase. Works great now!

It is difficult to get it off the stand quickly when plugged in through the slot at the bottom but otherwise GREAT GREAT. I use stand to plug in sideways and use the rotation feature

too sharp of an angle. My phone frequently topples off as the angle is sharp and the ledge is very narrow. If I were stronger, I'd bend it myself.

It does not look as nice up close as the 25-35 dollar models that amazon sells however for under 10 bucks at the time of the purchase you can't beat it. From far away it looks great and just as nice as the pricier models. Overall very happy with the stand.

It was a nice stand, no clue where it is now though...
