I bought this to keep my AU daughter occupied for the summer. She loved it and finished it in a few hours( of course). Tons go pieces, instructions and diagrams are on the back of the front picture, keep up with this because it tells you the #'s for the pieces. Pieces are NOT # on the wood itself. You put it together as so: #1 connects to #2, #2 connects to #3, etc...so, it can review counting as well. I do not know if I could do this puzzle, I don't really get into puzzles. I would imagine myself to have gotten frustrated and made the sunken version of this puzzle, but my kid loved it & now she has a cool decoration for her room that she built herself, worth the price! :)

Be warned!
I almost threw this away after barely starting. The instructions are difficult. Some of the wooden pieces broke apart when I was trying to pop them out of the frame.I did try again to put it together. It took a lot of time and frustration and I didn't even bother to put the lifeboats on or finish the smokestacks.Once it was all together though it looks pretty nice.If you have patience, time, and some sandpaper, I would recommend it. But I personally did not enjoy putting it together.

Loved the puzzle
Loved the puzzle. But that bit about not needing tools or glue is BS. I guess they make so many of these that the tolerances on the cutting machine aren't what they should be. That little one inch square of sand-paper only goes so far. But I've done a lot of these models now, and I keep a cheap package of sandpaper on hand to fine tune the ends. And if you don't want it to fall apart, I recommend Gorilla glue. I use the blue topped super glue since it doesn't foam up. So, glue, a decent hobby knife, and sand paper.

Fun gift
Bought this for my son's 14th birthday and he loved putting it together. He's built with legos and other models as well. It wasn't too difficult or to easy for him. Fun gift.

So cool!
Ah! I have found a new hobby/project, while also serving as a stress reliever! I love the Titanic and I haven't ever done these before, but I did the military sailing ship the other day and then saw this and had to have it! AH! I love doing these!

Impossible to Assemble
The instructions simply say: Match numbered parts to each other in numerical order. There is no visual diagram showing how to fit them together, only a microscopic representation of the 4 wooden sheet with numbers all over each slot, tab, piece, etc. So, for example, a slot will be numbered 7 and if you scan through the 4 sheets of wood you will find some other piece (like a tab) also numbered 7. The 7 slot and 7 tab are supposed to fit together. Already at pieces #3 and #4, I could not fit the matching 3's and 4's together for fear of breaking the fragile wooden tabs into which I was supposed to slide matching slots. And there are over 175 pieces to fit together just like this! Parents beware: It will be up to you the parent to labor over assembly, hour after hour. And you might give up already early at piece #3.Note: the image is of the instructions. Note the writing up top are the only instructions (in 4 different languages) and the rest just shows you the numbers assigned to each element of the 4 punch out wood sheets.
