The volumizing tonic adds some volume to my roots when I spray it on damp hair and style with a large round brush. I sometimes under tease my hair at the roots but when I use the tonic, this is minimal. There is no hardness or crunchiness to my hair and it feels on the soft side once dry. It does not weigh my hair down and I condition wash the day after and my hair is still in good condition with no heavy build up.

I spray this product on the root lines prior to drying my hair. It leaves my hair with volume that I can't get by just drying it without the product.
