Great doorbell! Some rings may drive you nuts.
This is a super doorbell. I use it indoors in an apartment building. The signal to the bell carries well, and the tone volume can be easily adjusted. I like it a lot. The only minor criticism I have is of the 'Melodies.' Personally, I prefer simple or humorous tones, rather than hokey tunes. Suite yourself. Here are the 'melody tones' via the very helpful manufacturer:Ding-Dong (Slow)Ding-Dong (Fast)Di DiClockKnock on the DoorJingle BellsA Comme AmourWestminster QuartersThe Bell & CuckooThe NutcrackerFor EliseDoggy Cop And Lost KittySample 13Rondo Alla TurcaLove MarriageSample 16London Bridge is Falling DownWe Wish You a Merry ChristmasCuckooCuckoo WaltzDoraemonCanonRadetzky MarchWaltz Op.39, No.15MinuetOroqen MinorPeer Gynt-Morning Hood1812 OvertureFantaisie-Impromptu in C-sharp minor, Op. posth. 66Oh, SusannaOp.64, No.1 Minute WaltzGoing HomeNo.40 in G minor,K550Ballade pour AdelineMozart Piano ConcertosMy Heart Will Go OnOld Black JoeKatushaClarinet PolkaOde to JoyRage Over a Lost PennyWilliam Tell OvertureSwan LakeSerenade in G major-BarkBarkMeowWhistleCroakChirpBaaKoke-kokkoNeigh

It only lasted 6 months
This product only lasted from August 30th 2017 until February 9,2018. The battery is supposed to last for 3 years. The outside door bell doesn't work. The bell box that's plugged in works when you push the button on the box. When I went tp return it, it said that it can't be returned after Sept 30th. What is that all about. Sounds like a scam. Not a good business.

Nice product with one flaw
I really like this doorbell. It was easy to install and it is working fine (it's still almost new).BUT. All those ring tones? Most of them are not useful in a home. We found about 6 that would not drive you crazy. So here's my suggestion. Leave in a few of the daffy ones, but truncate most of them to at most two measures of the music. You have some good classical selections but no one wants to hear 15 seconds of Chopin's Rainbow Fantasy played by a computer over and over. Better idea. Go to the middle section, popularized as "I'm always chasing rainbows" and use the first 7 notes. Period. It's a beautiful musical phrase. Same thing with Solveig's Song.I know lots about music and would advise you for free. There are tons of beautiful, short musical phrases that are in the public domain. Just off the top of my head:-The first 4 notes of Danny Boy-The first 7 notes of O Mio Babbino Caro-The first 4 or 9 notes of Greensleeves-The first 5 0r 9 notes of Chopin Étude Op.10 – No.3 in E ‘tristesse-The first 4 or 8 notes of Satie's Gymnopédie No. 1

EXCELLENT PRODUCT! 10/10
I deliberately waited to post a review until after I'd had this for a while so that I could really test it out. This doorbell is AWESOME.I have metal siding on my house, and I've had NO problems with it working properly. I have the button on the front door and the chime plugged in my kitchen (which is pretty much in the center of my house), and it works just fine. Also, if you live somewhere with brutally cold winters (as I do!), you should have no problems with battery life or reception. I'd purchased a cheaper doorbell before that worked OK in the summer (but the range was limited; I had to plug the receiver in the living room), but the batteries would die within a day or two in the winter. This one has worked perfectly, even in the coldest weather. It has three volume settings and a silent mode, and believe you me, it's pretty LOUD at the highest volume; I can hear this doorbell in every room of my house, and part of my basement. Plus, it has a flashing light on it so you can turn the volume off and still know if someone rings the bell; the light is small, mind you, but it still catches the eye. Finally, it has a bunch of different sounds (coocoo clock, door slamming, cats meowing, dogs barking), songs (Ode to Joy - my personal favorite, Fur Elise, Christmas tunes, patriotic tunes), and just general ring tones that you can cycle through and change with the seasons, or whenever you get tired of hearing the same chime over and over. I would definitely buy it again.

only two transmitters, receivers only select 2 different tunes
After spending a lot of time working to set tunes in the receivers, I think it will only set a red tune and a blue tune. I couldn't quite see how to reset the tunes, and finally assumed the order of pushing buttons is important but unclear. I wanted to have 4 transmitters, but when I set the third transmitter to a receiver, The other buttons didn't work right, they either didn't work or played the tune I just set. In any case they do not indicate the restriction. They showed a set with two buttons but did not indicate you can't have more than 2 buttons.
