A winter must have
Second pair of these and review based on the old pair as I have yet to truly test the new ones.Great in compacted snow and ice, not easy at first to put on and take off but they will get better with wear. Very secure and I wore my old ones during the Beast from the East in 2018. Didn't slip once and walked a few miles with them on. Work best in compacted snow but even in fresh snow they offer great grip.

Definitely for light use - lessons learned
I've had a pair of these before, they lasted 4-5 sessions of snowblowing last season. For the price, that's really not too bad. But in the end the rubber had broken and the springs that make up the real traction part had rotated and unscrewed themselves from the rubber and across themselves.I bought another pair this year and after one driveway clearing session with a handplow, they are well on their way to the same deal - they slip and get caught in the shoe treadblocks and started to get warped and stretched.Lessons learned: these are great for casual traction. I plan to add a pair to the car for winter emergencies. They also work better with more plain street shoes. The blockier tread blocks of winter boots can hold onto the springs and rubber in odd positions, whereas the plainer soles allow the Yaktrax to stay in place. So it's a case of right tool for the job - these do well with plainer shoe soles and aren't good for working outside as much, unless you are simply walking.
