Great for dog walking
I bought these spikes for walking my dogs in the winter. I live in Michigan and we get a fair amount of ice and snow. After falling on the ice and tearing a hamstring one winter, I went searching for a solution that would provide secure footing for walking my two dogs. These spikes are AMAZING!!! I keep them on one pair of boots and just reserve that pair of boots for dog walking. They went on my boots easily and have not shifted or come off in two years of use. If it could be icy at all I wear these and have never slipped at all no matter how icy. These are truly the best thing ever for icy surfaces. I’ve bought them for my elderly parents and other family members who may have to walk in icy surfaces. They have small discs in the bottom, not actual spikes, and that allows me to walk on my LVP floors if absolutely necessary. Not sure what would happen to real wood floors, but my floors have not been dented or scratched from these.

Ice? What ice?
It's a good thing I bought these recently because we got snow followed by rain this week, so there was plenty of ice. I was shoveling in my regular boots that don't have too much grip, so I went back inside and slipped on the boots that I'd put these on, and walking on ice felt like I was walking on solid ground. No slippage, they just stuck right in. Why did it take me this long to buy ice spikes?? We'll have to see how durable they are in the long run, but just based on effectiveness, they're perfect. I bought the Large size and put them on a pair of men's size 10.5 Xero Ridgeway boots, and they fit just fine. They go on easily and stay on, but come off just as easily when you wanna take them off.

Great for icy driveways and sidewalks
Bought these for my husband back in the winter - we live in the mid west so there were numerous times for him to try these out on our icy driveway with the snowblower and our icy sidewalks. They are easy to put on and take off and he was very happy with how they worked. They kept him from slipping on the ice. Purchased them after seeing a review of them on our local morning news show. Great purchase!

From no mobility on the ice to full mobility!
After getting stranded during the last ice storm due to dangerously slippery conditions, I decided to invest in Yaktrax Spikes for Walking on Ice and Snow. These have proven to be a game-changer!Even with the worst ice and snow conditions, I can now walk with confidence. The Yaktrax Spikes easily fit on both my boots and sneakers, so I believe they would work with almost any footwear. They’re quick to put on—takes just a minute—and they stay securely in place. What’s more, they feel incredibly durable and well-built, giving me confidence that they’ll last through many winters. I now keep a pair at home and one in the trunk of my car. These are a must-have for any winter emergency kit and have made dealing with icy conditions much safer and easier.Highly recommended for anyone dealing with winter weather!
