Trying out my new cordless vac! VERY happy!
I primarily bought this so I could vacuum daily (quickly) since I have two cats and mostly hardwood floors. It was very easy to put together and figure out all of the moving parts. My battery came charged to 76% so I finished charging it to 100%. That took about an hour and a half and it shut off on its own when charged.I started off on the low power setting for my hardwoods where there is mainly just dust and cat fur and that setting worked great. The vacuum head pivots around furniture legs which is a nice feature. It also has a smaller head so it fits between and under A LOT more things than my regular vac.I love the lights on the front! To the bare eye, I thought the floors were looking pretty clean but the lights told me otherwise. It actually made me want to look for more. It was crazy to see how much more was being picked up than I thought was on the floor.Next, I went to the second power because I found it was more effective to clean around the cat bowls where there were larger pieces to pick up like kibbles. Being able to change the power depending on what you are vacuuming makes it easy to manage the battery. It's really cool too that you can monitor the battery level as you go. The digital panel is extremely easy to read and it looks very modern.Once I got to my area rug, the middle speed didn't pick up the cat hair as well so I moved the power up again, aware I'd have less time on that setting. After a few passes, the hair did come up. One thing to note is that on the max power, and on carpet, you'll need a little more elbow grease to operate the vacuum. I had to lift the unit up slightly so it would be able to glide over the rug easier. I do know that this vac really isn't meant to deep clean carpets the way a corded vac does but for light cleaning it works really well. Then it was time to empty the full canister. The loose stuff dropped out easily. Just a small amount of the pet hair had to be pulled out manually from the upper part of the canister. My Dad has a Dyson and he has to do the same thing so I guess that's common because of the way the filter is situated. I was really surprised to see not only the amount of fur picked but also larger particles and a TON of tiny particles.I vacuumed two more bedrooms and 2 baths and was pretty much done. To be able to zip around the bathrooms in about 2 minutes each was amazing! I used to dread having to haul my vac in to clean them. The bedrooms have low pile carpet so I just vacuumed the spots where I could see debris and did a quick pass over the rest. I still had 26% power left when I was all finished. My apartment is 1500 square feet so I did feel like I had adequate power to get the entire job done and the battery was not an issue. The next day I went around a few spots to pick up some tracked cat litter and did several areas in the kitchen. The battery didn't drop at all. I cannot believe how convenient it is to do little quick jobs like that. I especially think that it makes vacuuming so easy, you'll do it more often making it less likely you'll need to do the whole house at once. I know it sounds weird, but it makes it kinda fun. Also what I like is it doesn't have one of those huge rechargeable bases that are ugly and take up space (and get dirty). And, from what I have read in some reviews here, the company has outstanding customer service and is very responsive. So, kind of hard to find a down side.During my research to buy one of these I realized that EVERY stick vac has flaws. Some lack suction, some lack features, some lack LED lights, some lack battery power, some lack accessories, and some are just not designed well. It really comes down to your budget, what you need it for, and the features that you really want.If you do lightweight/general/frequent cleaning kind of like what I described above, you'll love this vac! And, if you've never owned a stick vacuum before, like myself, you are in for a real treat. This vac is a game changer :)

works great BUT……
the vacuum itself is great. good suction and easy to use. BUT i have now ordered two extra batteries both of which i had to return because they do not work with the vacuum. they charge and when connected to the vacuum the vacuum starts without pulling the trigger and it does not register on the unit read out. it seems the unit does not recognize the battery. also the support web address does not work.update. it was the wrong battery. you have to get the v30 battery not v40.this is not made very clear so when you search for a battery for this vacuum the wrong one shows up. it looks exactly like the right one and even the info on the battery is the same.

What's NOT to LOVE?!
When I first received this "New" V30, I noticed that it was "Used". I contacted Evereze customer service and they responded to me within several hours. I had initially was going to ask for a replacement but also gave them the option of refunding a portion of monies paid if I were to keep this one. I have to say, they're customer service is TOP NOTCH! They gladly refunded me some money, the same day, and helped with extra battery. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. As far as the V30 goes, I'm in love. I've had my Dyson for about 3 years and started having issues about 4-5 months ago. Bought a new battery, new filters and it still won't hold a charge. Even making some weird, high pitched noises. Went to vacuum up some junk the other day and it quit after 2 minutes (supposedly on full charge). Needed a backup, so I bought this one after reading reviews. This vacuum is lighter feeling than the Dyson.. Plus! This one has a light to light up what you normally miss... Plus! This one shows you the battery life left on screen... Plus! With a smaller head width, gets under furniture better... Plus! Suction power seems to really get the job done, so I'm very happy with that... Plus! And finally, the filters are easier to clean... Plus! Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I figured after the price I paid for the Dyson, it would have lasted longer than it did. So, bottom line is this... If I have to purchase another one in the next year or two, I will still be saving money and it seems to be working just as well as the Dyson did (at first).***I will update if there appears to be issues with this later. ***

Had it for a year now
And it’s ok. The price is the best part followed by the fact that it is super easy to move around. It’s not the lightest, quite too heavy and the battery isn’t great. To pick up anything substantial you have to have it on the middle or highway suction and that drains the power. BUT battery power is tough and it’s worth not having a cord for. I just leave it plugged in when not in use. For a basement of our Cape I will use it for about 20 minutes, emptying half way through on suction level 3 and be at around 30% battery life by the end. It picks up cats sand and cat hair and the tools are really helpful. So I can’t really complain.Update: had to come back and amend it because I’m so disappointed. The hose split. I’m not sure how long it’s been like that, it might be why it doesn’t pick up well unless it’s on the highest setting. Such trash.
