I made a Happy Man out of My husband :)
I got this watch in the mail today for my Teddy-Bear (husband). I just ask him how many stars he would give it and he said one. I ask why and he said, because it meets the need. I explained how the stars worked and he gave it 5 stars :) He can't see the clock on the wall at the dialysis center because he's blind. So, I thought this would make his day. It did :) It announces the time and date, and it will help him get through his days at the center easier. He says it's loud enough for him also. The big button on top is so easy for him. It looks very sleek and fits him just fine. So far the function is good. He's only had it for a few hours. I will report if anything goes wrong. Thank you for such a good product. I try to make his life easier and this watch is a huge help. It gives him a some independence. He can't take his Echo to the center with him. So, this is perfect.

My blind father depends on this
Honestly this product is a life saver. My dad lost his sight a few years ago and this is the only way he keeps his personal schedule in check and maintains his own autonomy in doing his errands around the house. The button on the face is easy to find and the audio that says the time is clear. He doesn't wear the watch as his hands are usually in water a lot and he doesn't want to wet the watch and the band itself sometimes pulls the hair on his wrist. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes the other buttons on the side of the watch press by accident and he needs me to reset it for him. This isn't a problem for me. But it is an inconvenience to him. Otherwise, it's a great help in his life.I've had this product for a while now (around a year) and I'm thankful for this product. Highly recommend.

Beware of return dates!
Be careful what you order! Check to see if your item is returnable and by what date! I ordered this watch for my visually challenged Mother on September 27, 2024. Apparently, I had only had 30 days to return. I see that the very same watch, as of today (11/10/24), is returnable until Jan 31, 2025 --more than two and a half months! Not right! The watch seemed like it was going to work for her, so I even paid to have some bands taken out. (Very large band, even though it is advertised for women.) Several family members tried to set it up for her. It stayed in correct time zone for a few days and then decided to switch on its own. Tried again, it does not stay in correct time zone. The voice is "tinny" and low volume. I had surgery and was finally able to pick it up from her to return, but Amazon says it is beyond the allowable return date of 30 days after the purchase date. If I bought this watch today, I would have a return window until Jan. 31, 2025. Read carefully!!

Handy for intellectual disability
I purchased this for my brother who has Downs Syndrome and can't read well but can interact with verbal technology. He understands how to work it! I love that it resets itself for daylight savings so I don't have to fix it for him from a distance. Heads up for Americans, the voice is British -- it took my brother a minute to understand the time as he adjusted to the accent. The only thing that would make it better would be a way to turn off several settings altogether -- I worry he might accidentally turn on the alarm feature and not know how to turn it off. So far I just only taught him to press it once and he doesn't know about the other features, which seems to be working. It's tricky to find technology for people with intellectual disabilities, and I'm happy this product exists.

Its okay-
My mom got this for my recently blind dad. It only worked for maybe 4 days before it stopped working completely. She had to send it back.He did like it and was very sad when it broke. It is worth the money if your not really clumsy like my dad

This watch is an excellent solution for those who have trouble hearing, seeing and with dexterity.
Perfect for the elderly and/or disabled - those who have trouble seeing, hearing and with dexterity. My grandfather recently lost much of his sight and needs hearing aids. Because he can’t see well and shakes, a standard strap would be too hard to put on. This strap stretches. He can easily press the button to hear the time, and we set the alarm so he knows when to go down for dinner. He can’t see the display so a loud, clear alarm with a big button was important. We could find no other watch that met these needs. If you are buying this watch for a loved one, you may have to help set it up for them. It syncs the time and date out of the box really well via radio waves, and there is already a battery installed - the alarms will need setting though. But there is an easy to read manual and there is a link to YouTube videos by the company. An extra set of batteries was thrown in too! This watch is a great product that really addresses a need, and does it well.Update: I noticed a typo so I hit edit to fix it but just want to add that I was up visiting my grandfather last month and noticed he is still wearing this watch - I wrote the review after buying it for him and programming it back in 2017. Still works and he’s able to use it though he’s now completely blind.

Not very loud
I thought this would be a great watch for -in-law that is hard of hearing but it’s not very loud to be able to hear.
