At first I thought $60 was a little much for this product, but having used it now, I have changed my mind. It was absolutely worth the cost. It saved our trip from tired legs and tears. I would pay $60 over and over to have a stress-free family outing. Easy to attach and remove - even *multiple times* during a trip. Lightweight and packable. Perfect!

I bought this because we have a 4 year old who likes to ride bikes with us, but doesn't have the leg power to make it up the hills.I thought about getting one of those attachments to my bike so he can pedal along with me, but the problem with that is that he would be attached to be for the duration of the ride. He would not have been too happy with that one so I kept looking for better options.I found another one where he could use his own bike and be attached, but then I would need to have additional tools with me in order to attach and detach. This just simply would not have been practical or fun.So then I found this one here and I was a little skeptical about it and was scared that I would pull him and knock him over if I pulled too hard, but that has never happened. The stretch bungee keeps that from happening and I simply attach and detach him as needed and only takes a couple of seconds to do that.Definitely worth the money and the kid couldn't be happier.

We love the Kids Ride Shotgun MTB Tow Rope. We use it to give our 7-year-old the confidence to go on longer rides with our family. It provides the perfect amount of support. I'll add that our 7-year-old is great at following directions and is an experienced rider - I would not recommend using this with an inexperienced rider and/or with a child that is unwilling to listen/collaborate.

I ride with a 3 and 5 year old. This has drastically expanded our range. We can go farther b/c we know we can always just tow the kids back on the up-hills. As a person who rode daily before we had kids, the sling shot has us all rolling a couple years before I thought we would be able to do some of these rides. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who rides with kids.

Me and my friends tried it out with an ebike as a tow bike. It works well!

Simple yet effective tool to keep the kids on pace with you while on the trails and climbing hills!Be careful to not go too fast, you can literally sling shot your kid if they can’t keep up with your tow.

My son is 7 and this works great! Such a great product for the price. The only problem is my boy has figured out that he can get away without pedaling.

My 6 years old daughter started cycling on her own, with this rope we are able to do longer distances (36 km last time). Quality it’s great. My daughter loves it, but expensive but worth money

Bought this after a disappointing weekend where we just couldn’t convince our youngest to go on a family trail ride (smooth fire roads). I didn’t want us to get there and have a meltdown.This weekend was totally different - having the tow tow rope option has flipped a switch in their brain.I cut a deal where we’d use it only when they got tired and I wanted to see their tank close to empty. I kept my promise and so did they. I noticed they were working harder as we went, meaning it got easier for me. They weren’t getting towed as much as assisted through sections (uphills primarily).We all had a great day - everyone was happy and it has set the scene for future days on the bike.Not the cheapest but I’d buy it again in a heartbeat for the happiness it spread.I definitely worked a bit harder but the elastic damping is so smooth that if you’ve got a kid that is putting in effort you won’t feel thrown around.I didn’t notice the flat strap on my saddle - very comfortable.For those being towed this is probably what e-bikes feel like for the first ride!

For 5 stars it would need to be a little bit longer and i d prefer it to have not just a hook but also a quick release at the receiving end for emergency let loose (generally you d just want it to go around the stem and then under your hand on the handle bar so that it pulls itself off if you lift your Hand slightly
