Astro 201 ONYX Composite 1/4-Inch Mini Die Grinder with Safety Lever

It's the quietest tool in the shop. If I run it slow. It's quieter than a conversation. Will buy more from the company soon.

Small, compact and quiet. Fair bit of power. It’s rare to stall out. I mainly use it with carbide bits and stones. Great value for the price. If you feel you need more power their 202 version has more guts but it’s twice as loud. I tend to use this one far more. Would recommend

Quiet and powerful. I run a carbide bit in these and it work excellent. 1/2 as loud as my 20 year old Astro it replaced.

So far Astro tools have been great. I have several of their air tools and I like them all.

Works very well. The body could use some refinement. Another excellent alternative to Sunmatch offerings. This is a Mountain Tools PT-2035HDS2. I first noticed their palm ratchet was suspiciously similar to the MT offering. Astro appears to do their homework. Their use of Mountain Tools for some offerings interests me greatly. I've been dying for another reliable Taiwan OEM outside Sunmatch.

I have another die grinder that was about half the price. Although they both do the same job, I definitely prefer this one. It feels better in my hand and it is less noisy. If we ever need a 3rd one, I'll get another of these.

So far after a week, I like the product. It’s quite and easy to use. A little under powered but ok for what I use it for

Good but sometimes while adjusting the exhaust direction, the tool just stops working so exhaust is adjustable but not too much.
