I love these 3 lb dumbbells. They work great for me when I am doing resistance training. Eventually I will work up to larger dumbbells, but these work great.

I like to do a daily weight routine to tone my upper body. I leave the weights out in my living room so I don't forget. Otherwise I find I lose arm strength.

You can use them without hurting your hands. they are nice to hold on to.

Have just started working out at home recently and am delighted with these 5 pound weights. The neoprene covering makes them much easier on the hands than the steel ones and the compact size is a plus for newbie gym rats with less than bulging muscles.
