LindbergVerisol Skin Rejuvenator Powder, 60 Servings Of 2.5 Grams, Bioactive Collagen Peptides (99-608)

Long post here..... So I'm not usually one to review products. But, this stuff WORKS. I don't sell it. I'm not a supplier. I get no benefit whatsoever by reviewing this. It's effects have been verified in a clinical study (link below). Note: the study only tested this Verisol formula. Not every collagen supplement. I've been using it for about 2 years and everyone always asks what I put on my skin. And I don't wear any makeup at all. The last time I wore makeup was for my wedding. One jar lasts me 3-4 months. I put a teaspoon in my coffee every morning. It's tasteless. After about 2 months, I noticed my face was flaky all over. Which I attributed to the collagen boost and my skin's own cellular renewal kicking in (in layman's terms, my skin was shedding faster than normal). The flakiness lasted about 3 months. Applying my normal daily moisturizer and light weekly exfoliation with a facial brush kept it manageable. My arms and legs were flakier too. After about 6 months, I really started to notice an overall glow to my skin, a healthy kind of "lit up". I don't really know how to explain it. My skin just looked brighter, more moisturized.Total transparency: I'm 34 years old. I'm a healthy weight. Non smoker. I exercise vigorously everyday. I eat alot of fruits, vegetables and fish. But I have a strong sweet tooth and I love pasta and bread. I don't wear makeup. I don't have acne. I wash my face with regular Ivory soap and moisturize with Cerave face lotion. I spent ALOT of time in the sun as a drill sergeant. I don't wear suncscreen unless I'm at the beach. I'm starting to notice tiny crows feet around my eyes when I smile. I don't drink nearly as much water as I should and I probably drink too much coffee (only skim milk and Truvia added). I don't take any other supplements or vitamins. Why did I say all that? Because there are alot of things that I was doing before I found this product that probably contribute to how well my skin is aging so far and this product still had a noticeable impact on my skin.It's a great product. BUT..... It's not Jesus. It's not going to transform you overnight. It won't change acne scars, stretch marks or cellulite. And it's not going to miraculously undo heavy sun or smoke damage to your skin. If your diet consists mainly of fast food and booze, don't expect miracles. If you're 85, this product is not going to make you look 20 (but kudos to making it to 85, you're obviously doing something right, we should talk). I'm just a normal woman who found a nice product with nice results and I wanted to share my review.

No miracles, but it does keep my skin a looking a little better and helps greatly with my joint pain.

I've been using this product for about 2 months and I am seeing good differences in my skin. I'm in my mid 40's and am trying to slow down this aging process that I have started noticing. The fine lines around my mouth and eyes have diminished greatly. I am also using a hyaluronic serum as well so I feel that I am working on my "problem areas" from the inside and out. I really feel this product is nourishing to the skin. When I mix the product in juice or in a morning shake, I don't taste anything. When I mix it in water, it has a creamy taste without really having a taste...I don't know how to explain that. It dissolves quickly in anything I have tried it in...I do use a spoon to help it mix and dissolve it even quicker. I am going to continue using this product and am planning on doing an updated review at 6 months of use to be able to tell about the differences in long term use.

I bought this product crossing my fingers that it will do as promised because I was considering botox, which I have had twice before. I am just starting to get wrinkIing between my brows and one forehead line, which the botox got rid of, although I prefer not to go that route due to the expense and that people might notice. I am so happy to report that at the 2 month point I am no longer considering botox. I started noticing very slight results after about one month and initially thought maybe I was wanting something to happen so badly, that I just wanted to see what wasn't really there, but now at the 2 month point I am very happy. I was going to try another product that has the same active ingredient Verisol, but also has Hyaluronic Acid and Calcium, however, reviews regarding the other product included that it lasted less than the one month and the product had changed from when some originally purchased it causing some minor irritation to skin and bowels. I'm sticking with this wonderful product as it lasts 2 months and my results speak! I am re-ordering it today.

I love this stuff! I put a scoop in my smoothies every day and my skin has gotten so much tighter!
