great quality.
I bought this to replace an older Craftsman model that was mounted to my workbench. I made sure and got the same model number so the mounting holes would line up. They didn't. Not a huge deal as they were off only slightly. Otherwise, great quality.

No V-groove. Different jaws.
I might be picky, but I was specifically looking for a vise with V-groove.Description says it has one, the picture shows it too. Yet when I got it - nothing there. Also, box is different and says - 270 degree swivel instead of 180 degree. Not a problem, though. I would barely use it.But then no mention of the groove or replaceable/reversible jaws.Pictures attached - the first one what it should be, the latter two - what you will get.

Vice slops around on base even tightened down
I just bought this at Sears and after mounting it to my bench discovered a critical issue that makes it unusable, therefore I will be returning it. The one I received, although mounted securely to my bench, would continue to wobble around even after tightening the vise down to the base. What this means is that if you have something securely in the vise grip, the whole vise still wobbles around against the secure base, no matter how tight you go against the base bracket. I unmounted it to figure out the problem, and the cause is very simple, they casted the base mounting bracket center hole significantly bigger than the diameter of the bolt that the whole vise swivels on. Therefore, no matter how tight the little chrome side lever, the whole vise is going to wobble around as this hole slops around on the center bolt. The center hole was cast, not drilled, and it's not fixable on the one that I bought as a bushing won't fit since the hole isn't even actually round. 2nd minor issue I noticed is that if you accidentally back the base clamp all the way out (if you have kids or students using your shop, this may happen), then the bolt drops free and you must un-mount the whole vise to correct this and re-attach. I've uploaded a photo of the underside of this vise to help you understand the issue I mention here. Maybe some of these don't have this issue, but mine did.
