Amazon Essentials Men's Sweatshirt, Mock Neck, Fleece Zip Up

This sweat shirt is nice. Soft. Comfortable. Fits excellent too. They start at $16. There are two outside pockets and two deep inside pockets. Many colors to choose from as well.I was tired of wearing a Hoody sweatshirt; which I rarely put on the hood on my head. This looks smart without the useless hood. I was going to buy a fancy sweatshirt like this from another brand that had a fancy name for $175. Think of the tip of Argentina; bottom of South America; yeah that beautiful part of the world. that's the name of the company.. If you are not into labels and don't need to be validated by a label then this sweatshirt will fit the bill. Once you get it you'll be writing a review too. It is one of those bargains on Amazon that you'll be glad you got it. I would take this on trips and use it to layer clothes. It will keep you warm. It is a sweatshirt and lightweight. It would look good hiking on a trail, riding a bike or a business casual at a 5 star restaurant. Uh Hoody's at 5 star restaurant don't cut it however unless you Justin Bieber. So this has speaks style at the same time saving you money.

This is the perfect warm layer for hanging out indoors in winter and fall. The fact that there is no hood, makes this useable in places where a "sweatshirt" would be too casual and sports-like. This presents more like a cardigan than a sweatshirt, so works well for casual dinners out etc. I liked it so much, that I immediately ordered a second one in another color. A terrific value that looks like it costs more than the actual price. I have not owned these long enough to assess their durability. Time will tell if the fabric holds up, washes well without pilling or fading. So far, so good. Adds warmth without being too hot for indoors. The inner face of the fabric is fleecy and super-soft against your skin, and the outside face is smooth, soft and neat-looking. It layers well under a winter coat. The stitching is neat and well done. It fits perfectly to my taste. Not too snug or too baggy. The sleeves are a little long, but the knit cuff is easy to roll up one fold onto itself, and it stays in place and does not readily unfold and get in the way. The cuffs look perfect and neat when rolled up that way. The pockets are typical sweatshirt "hand" pockets. They are not the best for keeping other things inside, but do not add excessive bulk and they work well enough for items like a phone or keys. Better yet, the design of the pockets actually forms another very deep pocket on the inside--so you get four pockets, The inside pockets have closed bottoms and do a great job of keeping things securely inside. The zipper is impressive quality at this price point: genuine YKK. The heather colors (green and gray) look particularly nice, and are more interesting than a simple solid color.

Amazon essentials clothing continues to amaze me. The quality is good, fabric is thick and sewn well, and after over a year, they are still good and strong and have not fallen apart or deteriorated.I have been refreshing my wardrobe since my older clothes bought 1-2+ years ago from a national discount retail store have started to fall apart and have become sleeping clothes.I have purchased this Amazon sweater in multiple colors now because they are comfy and warm, especially at the office where it gets cold from time to time, and these do not get too hot either. These have inside and outside pockets, and are high quality. I’ve been asked at the office where I got it and then they’re amazed when I tell them it’s Amazon brand and I show them the tag.The only gripe I have with this is the cuffs are very loose. They look like usual sweatshirt cuffs (the elastic ones typical of traditional hoodies-which should be hugging my wrist), but they are loose like a shirt. I was expecting regular light jacket cuffs (not the elastic ones).Overall, this zip-up sweater is a home-run!

Me: 230 lbs, 5'9". Got the XXL size. 56% cotton, 44% polyester. Made in Indonesia. True navy blue (close to black). Sleeves are long (better than being short). Cuffs of sleeves don't constrict the wrists. Two slit outer (non-zipper) pockets, two inner 'pouch' pockets. Already laundered it - lots of dryer lint came off. Waist may not be as big as I'd hoped - hugs my tummy. Heavier weight than I expected. Lower hem below my waistline. YKK zipper should be long-lived. Fabric soft - exterior a little shiny. Looks better than fleece. Collar folds down well and NO hood. I like this garment as an alternative to a cardigan sweater.

I'm 5'11 , 240 lbs and I bought the XXL. Fits well, comfortable, a little snug around the waist but some people like it that way, good length sleeves, good quality material, neck is covered by the top of the sweater, zipper seems fine and works ok. Overall, a good value for about $20. Have not laundered yet but intend to wash in lukewarm water washing machine and then lay on flat surface to dry.PS I stay away from Chinese sites as their sizes are about 3 sizes smaller than US sizes no matter what their size description says and then its not returnable or has heavy shipping costs. Amazon is terrific on returns and their sizes are US based. Have learned the hard way with shoes and coats and shirts. Now I wont touch any clothing unless its from Amazon.

I dig this sweater! I’m using it over scrubs at work and it fits fairly well. The sleeves are definitely a bit long but I prefer that honestly. It’s a good thick, warm sweatshirt. Good size pockets and seems well made!

I have the Amazon Essentials full cotton full-zip which to me, fits true to size.

I've had great luck with Amazon Essentials clothing. This sweatshirt was true to size, I wear a small, and the color, red, was amazing - a nice rich red. Amazon Essentials are at a great price and great quality. I plan to buy the green one, if and when it's available.

Have had the other version for a year now and the zipper has always been a nightmare.What I really like about this one is the elastic wrist and waistband how that's really not elastic but it makes it much nicer much easier for zipping and overall level of comfort.I do feel it's going to bunch up a little bit on the inside there is no lining but of course for this price point you certainly can't expect that.The same nice material that they're using like this is actually a really really nice piece.I have a very expensive brand name that starts with p and I wear that all the time but this is every bit as comfortable for a third of the price.I ordered the I want to say it's a gray not a light gray but a darker gray and I really like it I'm pretty impressed as we eat our way into the fall cooler months this will be used more and more and I also sized it as a medium which I am but it's also going to fit inside of my four in one jacket so it's multi-purpose for hiking no question about it for the cooler winter as a base layer no question about that either so that's my motive for buying this.
