I love my owl. My husband screwed it to the top of our pergola & it’s done quite a good job of keeping the pesky pigeons away. The eyes are beginning to go in & out though. My husband passed away suddenly &, since he installed it, I’m not sure if the owl needs batteries or not. I know there’s a button to turn it off/on but that’s all I know. Is it possible for that button to need to be pushed back on after the eyes have stopped working, even though it wasn’t pushed off? Does the owl need batteries? Thank you

I bought this for my S/O because where his car is parked in the driveway, there were birds constantly leaving 'their business' all over the car. Since he hung this owl up, he has NOT had any problem with those birds. They all 'flew the coop' so to say. No mess on the car any more. It REALLY works just as it is meant to.

Eyes are almost too bright but they don't last all night. Realistic looking enough and does the job. Well constructed. Mounting brackets are sort of cheap but they can be made to work. Overall worth the price and will last a long time.
