Furby Boom Figure (Polka Dots) (Discontinued by manufacturer)

My husband and I ordered this as a christmas gift for our niece. This was the exact one I was looking for. This one was all of her favorite colors so it was perfect. I comes in a cute box as well. She played with this toy for a long time and still has it. They can be trained to say certain things and react to what you say or do to them. If you pet it, it will purr. The fury even blinks and will act like it is eating if you touch its mouth. They also yawn like they are tired. It is funny and will say 'I love you". It is truly a really cute toy that many different ages of kids can play with. I would buy this again. I would definitely recommend this toy to others. They last a long time and is one of those toys that can grow a few years with your child.

This furby does not come with batteries, but it requires 4 AA batteries. First when furby comes to life it is loads of fun. Along the way you will see that your furby will learn to speak English and less Furby language. I strongly recommend installing the app for your iPad, iPod or Android device. The app is FREE and it brings loads of fun new stuff to do with furby. I had some issues connecting the furby to the Android device but after 5th try it worked. Apparently the speakers on the device were set for low and furby requires the speakers to be set higher for him to listen to that squeaky sound and connect. And yes furby does make sounds that are at times annoying, but the good news he does not wake up at night.

I got this for my 7 year old for Christmas and she and her younger sister (5 years old) love it! They have to take care of it like a pet or the furby will change into other rude characters. The app for the phone or iPad is easy to use and fun for the kids. The biggest complaint I have is that there is no way to turn the furby's volume down. I feel that it can be excessively loud. I would not say that this toy is adult friendly because it will constantly talk or make noises. So if you like a quiet household, this may not be the toy for you.

My daughter wanted one of these so bad I got pressured into buying it for her BDay.The toy is actually very nice and well built with bright colors. It moves its mouth, body and ears, eyes light up and all sort of eye shapes are displayed, it also rocks front and back; uses 4 batteries that I still don't know how long they will last and if the toy will retain it's "learned habits & language skills" when replacing them :DOn the negative side, I have to say that my order did not arrive on the stated date and got lost in the mail, so I had to contact customer service via email. Response time was one day and they confimed the loss and proceeded to process a re-shipment. Reshipment arrived within 8 days so I guess it was ok.

Okay for starters I am a 20 year old girl . I had a furby when I was younger and I always wanted another on my 20th bday I purchased one it came the next time with Amazon prime & I already installed the Furby boom app on my Samsung tablet . I got the pink with white dots and blue ears as shown above . Everything was perfect when I opened the package. It works fine and it's so cute when it dances the app is even better you can teach your furby to say new words you can feed him/ her , take hem showers . Everyone says it's a little kids toy but I really enjoyed it . I know it's really expensive gift so I was skeptical on if I should really buy it but I'm glad I need , plus all my little cousins love it as well .

The Furby itself is wonderful! He's fun to play with and my daughter keeps laughing and loves when he changes personalities. The problem I have is the app won't work with the Furby. According to Amazon my tablet should work just fine with Furby's app. After a lot of research on the net, I find out that no, the app will not work with my tablet. Let me clarify... the app works on the tablet, and my daughter can play the games in the app, but it does not interact with Furby at all. I have done every trick out there, nothing.To sum it up, Furby works fine, arrived quickly, app works great on the tablet, but there is no interaction between app and Furby. Perhaps Amazon should double check their information about which operating systems the app WILL work with before posting them. That's the only reason I bought the Furby in the first place.

This is a review of Furby Boom Figure in polka dots. My kids have to have one of these after playing with their cousins furbys. I wrapped them for Christmas with the batteries in them, but I was smart and didn't put labels and sat them where they were not able to pick them up and them make noise. They love them and immediately started playing with them. I like how they talk to each other. We have older/cheaper tablets and they don't work with the app to good which was disheartening, but that is ok. We don't have the newest versions of some operating systems. When the kids were playing with them constantly they really went through the batteries. I like how they change personalities too. They maybe better suited for younger kids. I am not sure teenagers would get anything out of them.

My Daughter loves this thing. I was very trepidatious about buying this thing the reviews out there are funny but left you believing you were getting a fury demon in a box. I didn't want to get it because all I could thing of was here's another toy to have your kid plugged into a smartphone or tablet. It's actually not as bad as I thought, in fact my daughter gets a little annoyed about how demanding these things can be and gets to a point where even she's ready to make it go to sleep. All in all it's been a great tool to show my daughter how much maintenance/chores goes into having a pet be it robotic or real.On the plus side this thing says some funny stuff. And it's even funnier when your 4 yr old repeats it.

My kids love these furbys, you do need to look after them or they turn into hungry grumpy men haha I think it's brilliant. Once fed and cuddled lots goes back to being a girl, rechargable batteries last a few days. Great entertainment, good fun, great for kids to learn about looking after others. So much good points about it. Love it. Goes to sleep when inactive or dark.
