Three children made the wind chime. Longer string would help to make larger knots. One bead fell off before a hail storm, but the rest survived a strong wind. It’s pretty and sparkles.

The media could not be loaded.  My 3-yr-old daughter and I made this together over a few days. She loved rolling the clay and sprinkling glitter on it. She helped me thread the beads and geodes. It turned out lovely and she's really excited to hand it up. I highly reccomend since this is something that will last and won't end up in the trash later!

We just winged it my daughter & I,so this is our result (:**UPDATE**Sooo my 9 year old found on the wrapper of the clay packets that you put them in the oven at 275 degrees for about 15-20 min!! Hope this helps someone who’s not too sure what to do either! Good luck! Ours looks awesome dry now!! Great time mother daughter bonding (:

Keeping kids entertained

So I had to do a majority of this craft myself while my client watched cause the directions were a tad confusing. I didnt realize I did some stuff wrong till it was too late, but it still turned out great and she now has the flies door in the retirement facility!

Purchased for a 4th grader. The directions were but too clear and it was a little trial and error. The clay is very hard and they needed help working it correctly. We ended up running out of clay before we were had finished but that may be on us-we made a couple extra small medallions in case any broke after baking. It was a couple hours worth of fun. Would not recommend if you are looking for something kids can do on their own.

I sent these as gifts to a teen and an adult. Both loved the craft!

Notice that most positive reviews are the result of mother-child projects. We purchased this for a gifted 10-year old. She went at it with a game attitude, despite the poor instructions. The result was somewhat like hanging rocks. May try again in a few years. Our opinion: this should be featured as a family craft, for anyone under 12.
