Did I get a bad one or it is just brownish in color with strong smell? (color and smells like old baby formula powder at the bottom of an open can.)

The powder when dry does appear as a creamy tan color, and the smell is strong. If it is actually brown it may be bad? I've never got a can with powder I would describe as brown. The smell though is pretty strong. If you feel like it's browner than tan it may be iffy.
