Emotionally wrecked and completely compelled. A tense, passionate and amazing ending to an addictive and fascinating trilogy. Lou and Reid are one of the best fictional couples I've read and two of my favourite individual characters. They are such complete opposites yet work so well together. Their love is emboldening, powerful and fun. Inner strength, loyalty and love are at the core of their being. The story is woven perfectly together and I am happy with how all the plot threads concluded. I will miss this world and the people within it but I will return to visit often.

Ok so this was a whirlwind of emotions from the get go I binged this in two sittings because I needed to find out when they would find out about Lou and then when that was resolved Reid lost his memories so it was just a constant struggle🤣 especially since Reid had just started to accept himself as a witchBeau and cocos back and forth digs were so entertaining 🤣 Beau and his no filter charming mouth became one of my favourites characters I loved the relationship between him and Lou and his brotherly affections toward ReidI was a bit dubious when it came to the waters and hoping it would heal Lou and I thought maybe that it would be too filler but I loved the twist that it was Constantine that guarded it and ansel and Lou finally getting closure was something I didn’t know I neededAlso cocos mother being Angelique was not something I was expecting but I loved how the stories from serpent and dove were involved it was a nice twist!Célie was an unexpected addition to the gang but was surprisingly a nice fit, I loved how she came out of her porcelain shell and stood up for herself I love a bit of girl power!The last 150 pages were just amazing and really redeemed the series for me and had me on the edge of my seat! I think my favourite thing about Lou is her passion for saying the most inappropriate things at the worst times🤣 iconicThat epilogue was just perfect I really could not have asked for a better ending and it was so nice that it was from ansel as perspective. I didn’t really understand the purpose of ansel dying but it really became clear we needed to see Lou and coco overcome their grief and grow from itOverall I enjoyed this a lot more than blood and honey but serpent and dove still reigns for me!
