Yes, the wiring diagram is wrong, he's a better explanation
A lot of the reviews say the wiring diagram is wrong. Which is good, because it is wrong. The wiring diagram shows this in colors that don't match my plug, and also a plug that's not the same as the one I got, and common and Normally Closed are upside down, like this (ignore the underscores, amazon doesn't like spaces):___+C NO NC___-C means Common which is your battery or ground for you horn depending on which way you're wiring itNO means Normally open, which Means you press the button to activate that wireNC means Normally Closed which means it's activated if the button is not pushed+ is the power for the LED (that's all, just for the LED)- is the ground for the LED (that's all, just for the LED)The plug I got on mine is more like this, and Common and NC are "backwards" on the switch (ignore the underscores):_______+NC NO C_______-I breadboarded it out and here's a picture of how to hook it up if you want the horn to honk when you push the button.

The buttons work great, but definitely double-check the wiring!
These buttons are perfect for what they are. I ordered 3 different colors - Red, Green, & Blue. The blue one has a different feel to the button, and the wiring harness is wired differently, and the pin locations are different. Compared to the other two buttons wiring, the green & yellow wires are swapped on the green button. I made the assumption that each of the buttons would having the same wiring, and wired them up as such, but when I plugged everything in to test, I found that the green button wasn't working. I had to cut and splice the yellow wire into where the green one was in order to get it to work. This lack of consistency could prove very frustrating, whether you're wiring up just a couple of buttons, or even more so if you're doing this type of work regularly.Bottom line: don't trust the wire colors. Use a multi-meter to verify how each and every button needs to be configured. To be extra safe, match the button to the harness by tagging each component to make sure nothing gets swapped during installation. These buttons were used in conjunction with the Adafruit sound board to make a replica of Mark Rober's Courtesy Horn in my vehicles.

Great switch bad wiring on plug :(
Wire terminal are in the wrong place in the plug. Also the wire code is wrong on the plug. Other than than that it looks great. Ill move the wires in the plug to make it work. Didn’t think i would have to change the wiring on a well built push button

Better have a multi meter
The wiring is all wrong. Not to mention, the pins were places wrong as well, so if you plugged the harness into the button so the clip is in the right place, 3 of the 5 pins went to the wrong slot.May the force be with you.

Be careful when you wire it up, WRONG!!!!
Absolutely horrible!! Look at the pictures, wrong wires / pictures in directions. Directions show 8 pin switch and I received 7 pin and wrong instructions. If switch / wiring was correct it would be acceptable.I now have to remove and relocate the wires to the harness.

I first contacted Amazon to see if they would make it right and the refused , so I got a switch and the button portion works half the time and the light never did work , and i know I have everything hooked up correctly cause it's simple circuit and I am certified master tech .. so not trying to low blow them , just telling what to expect ..
