AngelusNeon-1 oz Leather Paint, Paradise Purple

this pink is PINK. its like neon posterboard pink. So pink its almost orange in certain lights. They are NOT kidding about the NEON part, it is VERY BRIGHT. it is definitely a bit on the sheer side, the black and pink shoe took about 5 coats over a smooth white base, but the suede tasseled shoe took maybe 2 coats over a cream base. It has a matte finish on its own, I added clear gloss to the black and pink shoe.The tasseled heels are Angelus Neon Parisian Pink, the toes are Angelus Desert Gold glitterlites, and the heels are Angelus Ruby Red glitterlites, they started out an allover chocolate brown leather and suede. The black and pink wingtip has a coat of the Angelus clear gloss finish, they started out black and white. Don’t forget to use the Angelus deglazer and preparer (or acetone works well and is cheap) to remove the existing finish and give the paint a better chance of adhering to the leather.anyhoo, I am officially addicted to painting my shoes, these Angelus leather paints are pretty amazeballs I must say.

The color of the leather paint itself is awesome- it is the same vibrant neon purple you see in the picture, hands down. I took a star off because I am trying out this product for the first time over other brands- this product most DEFINITELY needs to be airbrushed. I'm not sure if it's because of this color, but I brushed it onto my boots and it took many MANY layers to finally even out the color (and I paint with a lot of care to make sure all coats are as even as I can get them to be). If I were to buy this again, I'd highly recommend you airbrush this stuff on instead of hand painting w/ a paint brush.

So thin it’s impossible to put on without lines. I’ve tried sponges and brushes but to no avail. Coverage on any surface other than white is terrible. Bought this to add color to cycling shoes and helmet. Color has some pop to it but about 6 coats and I can still see original color (silver) I’m over it. On the blue of the helmet it’s a complete waste of time. Maybe good in a air brush system.

I did not receive paint. I received a spool of Thread I a bag marked with a paint label. I was offered a equal exchange but do not have time for it to get to me.I use this brand of paint a lot and yes, the neon colors are very sheer, be sure to put a black or white prime coat on your item first.

This is an amazing neon for leather- new to painting users must make sure they apply a base white that’s 100% opaque- yellow is a light bodied hue. This laid an impressive first layer- super bright- also used it as a wash over a multi color set of letters to give the neon glow- love it!

This paint worked out great. Used to do a custom pair of Jordan 6 Washed Denim. Pic doesn't show true color of paint (mixed with yellow and white to create my own color). But without mixing, the color is true to the product images. Awesome paint, worked exactly as described.

This great neon color mixed well with a non neon shade for a perfect match to my leather Fluevog painting project. Highly recommend Angelus quality products.

Even though the bottle was damaged and couldn't be used it was still a great color and paint. Love all angelus paint. There seem to be a shipping DAMAGE while in transit but product was exactly what I needed. No fault on Amazon

Terrible - really watery and no coverage. Will be throwing it in the bin. A complete rip off and waste of money. I will go back to the usual shoe pain that I normally purchase which is miles better than this complete garbage.

Purchased to paint my football boots, easy to use and really happy with the result and colour.
