Is it really any good?
Seems like it's #1 pitcher on Amazon, with a whopping amount of reviews, but it seems like every 4-5th review reports cracking after few days of use, WITH proper care.
This is a b-day present and I don't want to buy something poorly made and waste cash - the other more expensive pitchers on amazo…

Our household loves it..we go through fits where it is filled with just about any conceivable fruit, veggie, herb or combination...then we'll forget and not use it for a week..I've had it for just shy of a year and no issues..we try to hand wash..maybe the heating/cooling in a dishwasher added to some people's issue with cracking...we wash, rinse, refill, repeat...teens and college students think it's the "bomb"...we've found we all like the water when it's 1/2 hour to a few hours old..after a day or so the fruit gets waterlogged, ugly and the flavor it too much of a good thing..

Anyone wants to share recipes? I'm always on a lookout for cool new flavors, from simple one ingredient wonders to meddleys of flavor :)

I just made my first two batches (using 3-quart mason jars rather than a pitcher).One was half a cucumber (sliced) and a sprig of mint.  The other was one tangerine and a half a lime (both sliced) in a 50-50 mix of plain and seltzer water.  Both came out delicious; the cucumber/mint in particular is very refreshing.I'm going to try strawberries and mint next time.

Question 3

Can you use citrus fruits with this pitcher.  Is there a warning that critrus will cloud the acrylic?

Question 4

How long does it take for the fruit to infuse in the water?  i cut up an entire orange and let it set for 24 hours. there's no taste.

I usually let it say for a day or two but it takes longer sometimes depending on the fruit if you don't get much orange tast maybe put in some of the peel? Or also squeeze out some of the juice
