OLMSTED FORGE Pruning Tool Kit, 3 pcs: Pruner, Saw & Lopper

I don't write reviews often, but this set is very deserving. I wasn't expecting much given how cheap the price is and I was a little concerned that the loppers don't have a longer handle but after having used them for a while now I must say that I would recommend these to literally anyone who has need of a good pruning kit. These things cut like a hot knife through butter!! The pruners are easy to operate one handed and work great for smaller foliage. The loppers will easily take down just about any hardwood up to about an inch and a half thick (picture shows how wide they open). And the hand saw will cut through anything thicker than that in seconds! The saw locks into 3 different positions (pictures show each setting) and has a convenient hole in the handle if you wanted to thread a loop through to hang it. Very sturdy equipment, and don't anticipate needing to buy another set anytime soon but I would in a heartbeat these things are so useful!

This three pack was a gift for my son and he hasn’t used them yet. However, I did open the box and everything looked great, professional, and very functional. I read the accompanying catalog and saw this is a USA product and they’ve been making tools for years so I think they’re made pretty well.

It could be best for bonsai or indoor work. These are not for most landscape or yard work. The lopping shears are only about 14"s long and could only cut a branch of about 1/3 ".
