Great guide for a healthy and veggie diet
I've been using this book for a while now. It has served me as a great support and inspiration for vegetarian cuisine. In addition to the recipes, it gives numerous tips on how to combine or replace ingredients, food texture, nutrients, and more... this, for me, is even more valuable than the recipes. I feel like I have greatly improved my cooking after this book. Non-vegetarians have also approved the recipes ;)

Spot on vegan and veggie recipes
Excellent new approach to vegan and veggie cookery. Unfortunately some of ingredients not easily available in my area of France.

Unusual and very tasty recipes
Anna Jones' cookbook is amazing! I have never in my whole life of seven decades eaten any food like this but every recipe of Anna Jones' cookbook I tried turned out surprisingly very tasty. New combinations of spices and ingredients not usually used in Canadian cooking leaves one satisfied but not heavy and stuffed. Who ever is willing to try something new, this is their new cookbook.

Beautiful and Inspirational
This is a beautiful and inspirational cookbook. The photography is superb: I could look at it for hours. And the recipes are appealing. I have been disappointed on a couple of occasions where the recipe wasn't written properly and some of the amounts of ingredients didn't make sense. Also, for the most part, they are not quick, as the author says she strives for in her introduction. All that said, if you have some knowledge of cooking and can make modifications to recipes that are not clear, then this book will bring you hours of pleasure and many, many wonderful meals. I wish Ms. Jones great success with this book.

This book will change the way you cook
I can honestly say that this book has done more to change how I cook, than any of the other cookbooks I possess (and at last count, there are 50 of them - yes, I admit I may have a problem!)Before buying this book I had never really cooked vegetarian food (not being a massive veggie lover!) - however, a year on, my diet has changed completely. There are so many delicious, more-ish recipes in here... I find myself going back to this book time and time again, whether I'm cooking for family or for friends.Sweet tomato and black bean tortilla bowls, lemony lentil and crispy kale soup, chickpea and preserved lemon stew are my top 3 go to recipes. However, there are many more inspiring recipes, and having given this book to friends - everyone has a favourite within it!Yes, you may need to spend a little bit longer on your cooking (the lists of ingredients and number of steps can be time-consuming to assemble) however the flavours at the end of it, are all worth it. Even my husband has admitted that he doesn't miss the meat when I cook from this book! Superb!
