Ankle Support, Figure 8, Neoprene, Medium

I have been searching for these for years. I had three and my last one was on its last legs.I broke my ankle years ago and it was set incorrectly. My only choices are live with the mobility issues and pain, or they can re break my ankle and I could lose all mobility. Guess which I choose? Most ankle braces are too thick, or have velcro, or are too tight at the top and toes. Not these. My ankle is always swollen, but this brace stabilizes my ankle so that I can articulate the ankle almost as normal, and it takes up very little room in my shoe.I like that the seams are flat, there is no edging to bulk the top and bottom, and that the seams run in places that do not bother my feet or ankles.Slightly tight at first, but within a few wearing are perfect.

This seems like a pretty good ankle brace. It's a little thicker and more solid than some previous ones I've had. Unfortunately I have run into a sizing issue. My ankle measured 11" which put it firmly in the middle of the Large size. However the brace is too tight to leave on for very long. I have had it on about an hour and it's not firmly tight, it's pinching. My foot is extra-wide, so perhaps that's the problem. I'll be getting an X-Large now instead. It's also a fairly thick brace, I think it might be difficult to wear this inside a shoe, depending on the fit.

I only gave it a 4 instead if a 5 because it is so thick. It makes my shoe a little too snug.

The item itself is quality, and seems like it will last a lot longer. It's thick like a wet suit, like it appears. The major problem is it's very hard to get on and off, and can be quite frustrating. And then, at least for me, it doesn't provide the compression and pain relief as more traditional figure 8's, and also makes your ankle sweat. I think it would totally depend on your particular ankle. The others feel much nicer, but won't last 1/10 as long as this will. Might work for someone else.

Latest two larges received say large but fit like one extra large and one small or medium. Sizes are very inconsistent

The material is awful. I haven’t even worn it yet and the thread is coming loose. I don’t know how to fix it.

Having gun-boat feet, I am getting used to large foot items being way to small for my feet. This item was no exception. If you are a size 10, this item will work for you. Anything bigger, expect to hear gurgling choking sounds coming from your feet as this support strangles the life out of them. Are blue toes in this year??
