Packaged simply but effectively. Decent quality cable worked first time between HP laptop DP socket and Dell DVI input display. Running display at 1400x900 (or there abouts ) resolution with no problems. I feel confident this cable will last a long time.

Re: 4.5m DP to DVI monitor display cable.I've had two of these now, and they both failed to work. I wanted the cable to neaten up and lengthen an installation where the current system has a DP to HDMI adaptor plugged in to a HDMI to DVI cable 3m long.The current set-up works, even though the cable is too short, so I know the problem is in the replacement cable, not any other part of the system.The first 4.5m cable I received had a definite kink at the DVI end where the cable had been compressed and bent at some point. I thought that was why it didn't work so I requested a refund and ordered another. When the second one arrived it seemed undamaged, so I plugged it in.Sadly it didn't work either.I'm sure I'm doing it right, and I know that this is a one way cable. Is there any signal attenuation in longer cables that could cause this problem? The monitor is not being detected when I use these long cables. I've plugged other monitors in, used different cables, and tried both extending and duplicating displays. It's definitely the cable that isn't working, and I'm unhappy.

I have connected my friend's laptop to the external display using these cables, giving him (he is partially blind) the possibility to extend a small 15" screen to a big 32" one and work more comfortably. I was surprised with a very good quality of picture, without even a smallest disruption (full HD display). Cable plugs sit very stable inside the connectors. Definitely recommend these cables.

The package came the next day (even though it was Sunday) which was great as I managed to pick up a bargain dell monitor the day before that I intended to use as a 2nd screen.Cable works as expected just plug in and go. Got the dvi side in my screen and the DP in a GTX 1070 with no issues so far.

Package was basic grey plastic but cable length and material quality didn't disappoint. Sturdy quality cable which was picked up first time between AOC monitor with DVI input display and rx 570 DP socket and so far screen quality didn't decrease even thought it using dvi output on other end (audio works too also on external speakers just like it does with hdmi. Had to buy this as third party hdmi switch was giving weird buzzing noise when waiting for it to switch between ps4 and pc on same monitor. Now making use of the other spare output hdmi for ps4 and using this DP > DVI-i solution to make use of my other socket on monitor by default without hdmi splitter/switch in between. Such a convenient gadget and same money instead of buying brand new monitor for one more hdmi switch as long as resolution is within 1080p limit.
