Kings and Queens of England and Scotland

I'm a bit a history nut and going thru my favorite crowned head's of Europe one dynasty at a time when and where they strike my fancy (I have favorites), but as I add to my knowledge with a lot of audible books (I would not get to read as many books if someone wasn't reading them too me right, and I NEED the info like water) so I really wanted a visual reference to jet to when I'm reading about a new royal (like making my way thru the platag's ..) I need visuals. This is a small little hand book really, but it does give me a least a visual for every royal so far. I want a bigger better one but I think this is worth having. And i'm a beginner on visual only. I like it

Best pocket book for royalty fans

I was at Kensington Palace and saw this book but didn't want to carry it all the way back to the US. I jumped on Amazon and ordered it for less than it was being sold. The book is nicely put together with a lot of beautiful glossy pictures. This is a great book with quick summaries of each monarch.

Everything you need to know about every king and queen and consort and lady in waiting ever. We bought this in Scotland at the castle in Edinburgh but left it on the airplane ....yeah amazon had it of course ! This is great short read a must have for the entire history of Europe and a real historical education

A few months ago while working on my family history I found myself right smack-dab in the middle of many royal lines. The most exciting thing for me in genealogy are the stories. "Kings & Queens of England and Scotland" does that for me. Additionally the pictures have added an even closer relationship with my kin. Great book to own!

My daughters two children get this book out of the school library with such regularity that I thought I would buy it for them.They love the pictures, the text is easy for them to read and they just love it......they quiz one another on what they have read...what a fun way to learn about the history of the Kings and Queens of the United Kingdom.I am in favour of encouraging learning history in this way. It is good for school projects too.I just hope they will share amicably.

I was looking for a small book to keep by me to refer to during reading. I read a lot of historical books, fiction and fact, and sometimes need to check which King/Queen is being referred to.This little book is excellent and just the right size.

Helpful timeline at sides of page. Eye-catching illustrations and good information.
