I am happy I bought them anyway
These panels are quite narrow in reality although the measurements appeared to fit my rather narrow window.. I hung them from the rail behind my curtains and they do blot out most of the street/daylight, so are doing what they are expected to do to a certain extent. I am happy I bought them anyway.

Two Liners that will cover One 54x80 Curtain - not two curtains
In the package you will receive, two 27'x80" blackout curtain liners - you have to put these two together to cover one standard 54" x 80" curtain. The picture I have included is the label from the curtain packaging, it says - Liner White 54" x 80".If you want to blackout two curtains you will have to buy two of these products for a total of 4 individual liners.

Good liners, though blackout curtains would be ideal
I bought these for my bedroom window, because I like my existing curtains and didn't want to replace them. My views on the liners:1. Make sure you're buying enough. The panels are 27-inches in width, 2 panels per package, a total of 54-inches. You probably will need more than 1 package to line your curtains, assuming you have enough curtain panels to cover 2-3 times the window width. (The general rule for proper curtain fullness.)2. The panels have velcro, so you can "stick" them together as needed.3. I discovered I don't like drapery hooks. I used them (they're provided with the liners), with a few medium-sized safety pins as well. If I were starting over, I'd skip the drapery hooks and just carefully use safety pins instead. I found that the little loops on the liners didn't stay hooked on as I was trying to get the curtains back onto the curtain rod, and I had to fuss with them a bit.4. Ultimately, I think spending the money on good blackout curtains is a better way to go. I couldn't find blackout curtains in the colour and type I wanted, and within my budget, so this was a temporary compromise.Bottom line: Good liners if you buy the appropriate number of panels. If you can swing the cost of really good blackout curtains, I recommend going that route instead.

Great value
I'm a shift worker, so I was looking for something that will block out the day light while I try to sleep. I wanted to keep my existing curtains since they are nicer then most blackout curtains that I have seen online, so this was the ideal product for me. The price point was also a big selling feature, since you get 2 panels at this price, and most curtains are sold with 1 panel. The curtains come with hooks, so they are easily attached to the back of your existing curtains. The curtains are a bit heavy, so it may not be ideal to attach them to a light weight curtain. My curtains were a thick canvas, so they attached nicely.Update - I bought these with a pack of block out curtains, I prefer the solid curtain panel rather then this backing as it seems to let light shine through the sides of the curtains and doesn't quite fit my current curtains. Maybe a larger size would have worked better? I am probably going to give these away. I bought a second pair of block out curtains since they seem to do a better job of filtering out the light.

They were easy to attach to my existing curtains
Two white panels, just as described. They were easy to attach to my existing curtains.I live in the North, and during summer there is about 24 hours of daylight. The panels block out the majority of the light and make it significantly easier to sleep. They block out a fair about of heat, and also help insulate when it's really cold (it reaches -50 Celsius here in the winter, so anything to help keep heat in is great).A lot of black out curtains are really expensive. Being able to attach these to existing curtains saved me a lot of money :)
