These microphones clip on your shirt, stun you with their sound quality, then quietly vanish from your thoughts. Once you have them clipped on and do the initial configuration, they simply work... You don't have to tinker, you don't have to adjust, they just work!I've worked with lavaliere microphones for decades. Some theater grade, some studio grade, some concert grade. Every microphone has its own personality and you need to get to know each microphone and its particular quirks to get the most from them. Especially when you have two people talking with each other like in an interview, there are a thousand things you have to "get right" before you can get good audio.These microphones worked perfectly for me, fresh out of the box... I didn't need to do a thing beyond basic connectivity and level checks. I wish that I'd had these years ago when I was doing sound professionally, they would have made a lot of situations much easier for me!

These things are worth every dollar and some. Have used them on multiple 2 person interviews and the sound is phenomenal. I use these with my Tascam DR-40 and pick up almost no background noise with either of these lavs. Any sound I have picked up was easily removed in premiere pro or audition. I will likely buy them again soon, I would highly recommend these. The only thing I don't like is the cords are extremely short which is why I am taking off 1 star.

I wish they included more than two wind screens (covers) and a case.The photos provided with this listing on Amazon are not accurate. One of the microphones has noise cancellation (it's mushroom shaped) and the other doesn't. The one without noise cancellation is smaller and cylindrical. They both have windscreens and clips.I tested these microphones using a Tascam DR40 portable audio recorder.I found the two microphones performed relatively similarly indoors. However, the mushroom shaped microphone (pictured in the listing) was better in a noisy outdoor environment.I tested the sound cancellation in a very noisy environment and it was very good with low frequency noise, but not as good at cancelling high frequency noise. This was not unexpected.The build quality is excellent.All in all, I'd say this microphone is good value.

Mic stopped working after being used 1 time-I received it October 27, 2018 used it October 30, 2018 tried to use it December 23, 2018 and it did not work. Naturally- window for replacement is closed.

Great product! At first I didn't think it worked, but customer service told me I had to change my Zoom H4n to Phantom power. Two minutes later everything was working perfectly! Great product and fast customer service.
