Cute and educational!
I bought this for an ESL student of mine who's interested in science and comics. The characters are lovable and he really enjoys the story. It presents natural English expressions and enough new vocabulary without it being overwhelming. The story is pretty simple to understand regardless. At this point he's already bought every other volume released so far!

Fun series for boys and girls!
My 6-year-old loves this series. Graphic novels are the perfect platform to promote independent reading. They're a great transition from picture books, thanks to all the visuals, and aren't conducive to being read out loud, so they will want to read to themselves (possibly to you or with your help) versus trying to follow along while you read!As for this series in particular, I'm not sure why she likes these, but she asks for these and My Little Pony comics more than any of the others I've gotten her.

Wonderful
Squish and Babymouse are the best kids books I've read in a while. i'd like to see more of the Babymouse humor that Holms brings to her writing in that series. Reading level is 2nd grade but has an interest level up to 5th especially for our struggling readers who don't want to feel like they are reading books that are too young. My child loves this series too!

Great series!
Any book that results in my son reading more, I love. This book makes him laugh, keeps him engaged longer than I expected. I would have to say this is definitely a great series for kids! Funny, easy for him to read and use his imagination!
