Great product
Worked perfectly! I have a 2013 Kia Soul, I looked up a YouTube video on how to open my old one & just followed the directions. You will have to break open your old one as it dosent have a screw holding it together like the new one does. I had no trouble placing the circuit board from the old one into the new one & placing my key in it. Remember to wind your key a couple of times to get tension for it to spring up when you press the button.

Fixed my old key fob.
I bought this as my 2012 Kia Soul key fob buttons was in really bad shape.. I just simply took the silicone buttons sleeve off the new one and put onto my old key fob so i didnt have to change out the rest or get a new key cut etc. It worked flawlessly. So i cant comment on the entire swichover but if u looking to just fix those buttons this is the easiest way ive found.

Nearly perfect!
The keys broke off the fobs for my 2011 Kia Soul years ago. Since then I’ve been using the fobs with straight keys cut by a dealer. The rubber buttons cover wore out and fell out of one fob so I looked for replacement parts and found this fob.I wish I had looked years ago! It was so easy to swap the guts of the fobs, with help from YouTube of course. I had the new keys cut at a car keys store at the local mall for $16 each. The fob does not come with a sticker. I know the description sort of sounds like it does but what I think they’re saying is to move your sticker from your old fob. On my old fob the “sticker” is a metal plate held down with something like rubber cement. Using the tiniest of electronics repair screwdrivers I was able to pop the plate off. I rubbed the glue off with my fingers and attached the plate to the new fobs with a couple of drops of super glue. This fob also does not have a gasket around the electronics so take care to keep it dry.Pay attention to the picture of the key in the product listing! There are two identical fobs with different key blanks. I almost bought the wrong one, fortunately I compared my key to the picture and realized my mistake.I’m so excited to have working switchblade fobs again I almost can’t wait to go to work tomorrow. Almost…

Works for 2012 Soul
Rubber buttons on old fob were trashed. This was a great replacement fob case. Old key fits right and flips perfectly.Despite youtube videos showing how to open the old original fob... "it just pops open!".. Uh, no. It took me a half hour with a dozen tools and a vice to pry the old one open. Totally surprised i didn't destroy the circuit board in the process. Your mileage may vary.

So easy!
I used a YT video that went through step by step instructions, and now I have 2 brand new fobs (using the keys and motherboards from the old fobs) that work and look like new. Great little upgrade!

Not a direct replacement
I was hoping I could just use the button pads on my remote but they are different size so I decided to swap the whole assembly. Unfortunately it is not the same size either. The circuit board did not line up with the standoffs inside the assembly. The buttons aren’t lined up properly but it’s good enough to work for now. Just disappointed that it appeared to be identical from the outside but the inside is different enough to make it difficult to swap.
