Easy to use angled blades.
Very nice pruners, easy to use, a little more thickness on the handles would be better for large hands buy all in all a nice product. Do not exceed the recommend cutting diameter as you will.not be able to make a clean cut. Clean cuts diminish as you approach .75 dia stock.

This is my second pair purchased for my son. ...
This is my second pair which I purchased for my son. I have cleared so far 1/2 acre of blackberry bushes and hawthorn trees with my Corona pruner and a Ryobi Li battery chain saw. I have gone through 5 other brands of pruners over the years on my farm - all have failed. These Coronas fit my hand well. For larger diameter branches around 3/4" the handles must be held near the ends to obtain enough leverage. There are no signs of rust, loosening, or the spring separating.I have cleared another large area of blackberries since my last review. Still sharp. Rubber on handles has not come loose as another reviewer experienced. My wife uses them for her flower (lots of roses) garden and trimming cut flowers. So I am buying her a pair.

they work
The handle takes some getting used to but they work great. I have a commercial chestnut orchard and these are my go-to. The type with the metal sleeve instead of a spring break and fall apart. These are better than any Fiskar that I've purchased.

Great first choice if you do not already have a pruner.
This pruner is easy to grip, cuts well, and is easy to keep sharp. For sharpening, I recommend the Corona Garden Tool Blade Sharpener, Model AC 8300, also available from Amazon. This pruner will not handle all jobs, but is a great first choice if you do not already have a pruner. We have two of these so that both of us can work at the same time.

Uh, well....
The good:Very well made, good ergonomics, sturdy...these feel like a great pair of pruning shears as soon as you pick them up.The bad:Dull. There's no way to church it up, these things only cut through a 1/4" locust sapling with a twisting motion and the grip strength of Goliath. I mean, it's really terrible. Depressing, in fact.I'm a landscape and Horticulture professional. I've used cheap ones, I've used pricier ones. I have a $10 pair from Tractor Supply that look nearly identical and put these things to shame. I will attempt to sharpen these and make them work, but it was a HUGE letdown.

Best Ever
Best clippers I've ever owned. They're sharp and easy to use. I have arthritis and needed something ergonomically shaped that my hand could hold on to and not get sore or where the clippers would constantly fall out of my hands.

Great clippers, great price
I love these clippers and have given them to my gardening friends as presents. They are easy on the hands and the return spring does not give out as it does in some other clippers. I use them all the time. If you get the little sharpening tool, you can keep them like razors all the time.
